That must be a tedious job.😱
Not that tedious to install all that pirated software.....
All they do is whipp out their 500GB (or sometimes 1TB) hard drive and then copies all the installer files onto the machines, and then once it's all on there, they just click install and wait for all the machines to finish, wrap it up in the box, and put it back into the storage room. No need for serial codes or whatever, it's all cracked versions.
When I bought my dad a MacBook I had to yell at them until they will finally get me a brand new *untouched* MacBook. I just want to experience the first "boot up". Too bad I didn't know about this when I got my first Mac, an iMac. i started it up, heard the 'bong' and then WHAT THE F#@%!!!! No setup screen, just the Finder. It spoils all the mood man.........
I might've sued if I was an American (no offense)
😛
The people here love all the *free* stuff they get with their machines. The retailer will just ask you want apps do you want. You want Motion? sure. You want Adobe creative suite CS2 premium? sure. You want iWork? sure. You want Mathmatica? sure. You want some fries to go with that?
😀
I can say that, yeah it's nice and cheap to get those pirated stuff. The whole Adobe Creative Suite CS2 Premium costs under US$10, complete with serial and stuff. It's normal for people here to get pirated software. But it's just plain sick when the retailers actually *bundle* these programs with their computers, without the buyer's knowledge. But most buyers like the free stuff though.
It's even worse because teachers in my school actually require you to have Adobe Photoshop CS2, Flash 8, and all the other expensive stuff to do school work. And if you don't have them the teachers will tell you to go get it, the pirated version. The teachers are not Asian too, they're mostly American and some of them are from Europe, Australia, etc. And I expect them to at least know that piracy is not the right thing.......
Ah well.....sorry for my rant
