Yeah I totally understand, and I know you are not trying to sell me. I am asking cause I really don't know what the data shared plans offered until now. I always looked the other way because I feel like AT&T is doing everything in their for me to give up my unlimited.

I am not sure still if it would work for us or not. My mom and sister are the ones on the 250mb plan. My sister wishes she has more data, but my mom never uses all of hers. I just would not want to be the one that used almost all the data, and left them with nothing. I do normally come close to the 5gb, but have only gone over twice, and yes they slow it down to EDGE speeds. I do wish I has tethering too. Again it's something to think about, but still just unsure. Thanks again for helping me out.

Yeah, no problem. Glad to help out.

regarding sharing data, it is a slightly different "philosophy" than before (only having your own data to worry about and not having to share) but that's why I suggest the 10GB. Because then you don't have to worry about using your 5GB and it sounds like the other 5GB could essentially be split among the other 4 lines (would that be enough? maybe not...). Also keep in mind that AT&T does actively let you know when you are getting close to going over your data allotment. They send a text and an email to all lines at 65%, 90%, and 95% (or is it 99%) of data usage... so there is no way that you cannot know that you are close to going over. Plus, using the MyAT&T app, you can always see how much data each line is using at anytime of the month and how many days are left in the pay period / data period.

Good luck!
