Titanium has a lustre comparable to none. It would definitely stand out. If you can afford it, may be worth replacing your graphite with black titanium. You can always come back to graphite if you don’t like the titanium (with in the 14 day window of course)im still within my exchange window. im getting secound guesses on my graphite and wondering if i should have gone space black titanium instead. my only concern is that with pictures it looks so similar to aluminum
I'm sticking with Graphite. In my opinion it's hands down much better looking than the SBTi. I think the SBTi is pretty boring, and for the extra cost I don't think it's worth it at all.im still within my exchange window. im getting secound guesses on my graphite and wondering if i should have gone space black titanium instead. my only concern is that with pictures it looks so similar to aluminum
Can’t understand why the space black was replaced with graphite!
In the end, I have Apple Care+ for my watch so if it starts looking bad and the DLC starts to scratch I have no problem getting it replaced twice a year for $90 (CAD).
Ya I'd just throw it on the ground or hit the sensor area with a hammer. Problem solved.Based on reports, it is believed that scratches are considered "normal wear and tear" and are not covered under the Accidental Damage policy (which is designed more for cracked screens or sensor casings).

hey if possible could you get me a pic of the aluminum and SBTi side by side? The titanium models really need to be seen in person imo. The photos I've seen online don't do it justice. I've seen people say the SBTi looks like the SG aluminum watch, but I have both in my household and I can say that isn't the case at all.
The graphite ss is a different look altogether being as shiny as it is. The natural Ti model is not shiny but brushed, a different kind of premium look. Ditto the SBTi, but obviously darker. Simply comes down to what looks good to you personally.
This is my SBTi with some window light shining on the side so you can get idea of how lighting conditions can affect its look:

My store is open but can’t view themYou have to make an assessment in person, that’s your best option. Pictures, videos, will never fully give you the angle you’re looking for if it’s for you or not. In store under certain lighting conditions, you’ll know right away which one you like, that is if any Apple stores are open in your region.

we have early reports of graphite watch that has been easily scratched. i would wait for more such reports before i can say its indeed an upgrade.Because Graphite is an improvement over Space Black.
Same here. I‘be had SS and SBSS, so graphite is a welcome change. I just received mine with the Milanese loop today and am very pleased. Can’t imagine you going wrong with either choice. Apple has a watch for everyone’s taste and style. Me, I prefer that slight shiny look and the graphite is just so clean in person. After having silver and space black SS variants for years, this is a welcomed change.
It’s FASHION, not a technical upgrade....we have early reports of graphite watch that has been easily scratched. i would wait for more such reports before i can say its indeed an upgrade.

Here are my Series 3 SG Aluminum and Series 5 SB Titanium. Hopefully this will help you get a better idea before you're able to view the watches in person. Apologies for the quality - just quick snaps from the iPhone.
I guess if you look at them side by side, then yes, you can see the difference quite easily. Out on the street however, I feel like my SB Titanium looks like every other SG Aluminum. I bought the SB Titanium because it was an interesting new material and combined my preference for something light and strong. Honestly though, unless you're bashing your watches around, I feel all the watches I've had have held up really well.
I also went to check out the Graphite Stainless Steel and think it looks really good. I am tempted!View attachment 960902View attachment 960903View attachment 960905View attachment 960906View attachment 960907
No we don’t. There are reports of the Milanese loop scratching it, the same way it scratched the space black ones.we have early reports of graphite watch that has been easily scratched. i would wait for more such reports before i can say its indeed an upgrade.
Wow, that is clear. You are wrong. All the Black Sports Bands come with the pin in graphite. You can actually see that clearly from Apple’s website. View attachment 960914View attachment 960915View attachment 960916
