Ok so having seen both in person, I think both of these finishes look superb, my verdict is, you can't go wrong with either. If you're coming from a standard Stainless Steel like me and were looking for something new, either of these would be a good choice.

I'd say it would mostly be down to a question of, do you prefer glossy or matte - just like back during the iPhone 7 era when you had the choice between Black and Jet Black. The Titanium is a member of the Apple Watch Edition collection which means it also gets a few extra perks just for that.

I'll list the Pro's of each otherwise below:

Graphite (glossy finish):

-Cheaper Starting Point
-Glossy look makes it stand out more in public compared to the Titanium/Aluminium watches, both are matte
-Matching Milanese Loop if thats your style
-If you have AppleCare, damage it, the replacement fee is cheaper than if it were the Titanium Edition.

Titanium Space Black (matte finish):

-Lighter weight on the wrist
-Less prone to fingerprint smudges
-Includes an extra, exclusive (cannot purchase outright anywhere else) Dark Grey Sport Band in the box, free of charge
-Standard Warranty is two years instead of one and if you buy AppleCare at the slightly higher price, its for 3 years
-Includes charging brick in the box (should you need a new one)

...
Titanium Space Black (matte finish):
...
-Includes charging brick in the box (should you need a new one)
Good summary except do the Titaniums (either finish) really still include charging brick in the box? I thought Apple had started removing the bricks a few weeks after launch, even from the Hermes Edition, and only lucky fairly early buyers still got the charging brick in the box. (I'm one of those lucky early buyers - SB Titanium with a charging brick included in the box.)

I got one last Thursday and it did have the charger...luck of the draw I guess?

The expected delivery dates for SBTi jumped from Oct 1-5th for orders on Sept 21th to Oct 20th+ for orders on Sept 22nd.

My guess is that was the demarcation when they chose to cease inclusion of the brick with the Edition models. I received a brick with my SBTi ordered on Sept 21st and delivered on Sept 28th.

Sounds like we're starting to see the transition in retail stock and likely will see similar among delivery orders shortly.

To those who no longer got the charger with the Ti, did you get both sizes of extra sport band or just one?

Apple incorrectly listed a single-size of the band from day one, even while listing the brick included.

This didn't change when they dropped the brick from the Edition watches.

I'd be rather surprised if they suddenly started not including both sizes for the exclusive band - and I'm unsure why one might think they'd do that.

BTW - for sake of clarity for other readers, let's be clear to differentiate charger puck/cord from the 5W USBA brick power adapter. Only the latter is dropped, and many say good riddance to the useless drawer-denizen.

From my post on Sept 18th:

I just got my SBTi today, ordered from Apple on 09/28, came with Power Adapter and both sizes on the Dark Gray Sport Band.

Definitely love the color over the Graphite SS. Had a SBSS S4 previously.

Both

Edit: Sorry, didn’t read properly. I also got a charger brick so disregard that I got both sizes.

Received my 44mm graphite with Milanese today, it’s very nice and as I thought, identical to the finish on the iPhone 11 Pro space grey

Dark finish and low maintenance screams for SB Ti. I prefer this combo over all because I hate fingerprints and micro-scratches.

Low maintenance? Fingerprints on the brushed Ti casing don’t appear, but they most certainly do on the display, (especially when the oleophobic coating is new.)

As someone currently wearing the SBTi, can confirm, low maintenance is where its at with this watch, especially coming from SS (and graphite after returning it).

I love not needing to baby this thing, fingerprints are essentially nonexistent on the SBTi chassis, and the DLC coating not found on the regular Titanium will do well to protect this thing from those scratches that were almost inevitable on the SS

I guess it’s all down to your individual preferences. If you hate glossy bling finish then titanium would be your best bet. But on the other hand if you like your watch to be shiny with a mirror like finish, graphite would be ideal.

When you all talk about maintenance ....I looked down at my S6 SS Graphite on my wrist and was like WTF. I have never had to do "maintenance" on any of my SS AWs( S2 SS Black, S4 SS Black, and S6 SS Graphite). I consider myself a well groomed detail oriented man .Also, I workout in my mines 5 days a week (hit with weights, kettlebells etc. lol )and never had issue with scratches smudges etc. :D🤷‍♂️

I think what they are referring to is the finger prints on a glossy surface.
Some times they can stick out like sore thumb. again it all comes down to how anal you are with the looks.

Yeah I most probably to have smudges but don't notice them. I wipe my watch over just before I put it on and then forget about it
