no one answered this for me but;

If we are already on 4.1 we just run this bad boy and we're set? I already used tiny umbrella to preserve my baseband

Quick question

I saved my shsh blob.

And I'm on 4.1 with the latest baseband. if I downgrade to 4.0.1 and then upgrade to 4.1 using tiny will my baseband be at the older version?

But what if I put my left foot in & then took my left foot out & then put my left foot in again & then just shook it all about.

Then would I have my old base bandback???

mee 2. I guess they just made the front page that way 'in preparation.' Look forward to the Mac version by the weekend--would really rather not mess with Parallels or Bootcamp.
That's smart thinking. It took me 5 tries to get Greenpois0n to work in Parallels 6. OSX's iTunes kept trying to take over in the middle of the jailbreak. It wasn't till I put Parallels in Coherence mode that it finally jailbroke it. :D

I jail broke with GP.. now when I connect to iTune it says:

iTune could not connect to iPhone because of error 0XE8000022

Any idea how to resolve it.. I need my data back .. which is a lot of it..

I'd just like to add that I've installed Greenpois0n without any problems or bugs. Works great! Literally took 4 minutes to install. Read the guide followed instructions and was up and running.

Oh I'd like to add that I did it on my home windows XP machine (ew) even though I have VMWare Fusion on MBP and bootcamp Windows 7 (not really that ew, but pretty good actually). Thought it would amount to less hassle just to do it on bootcamped/virtual Windows

Same here. Just used my wife's iPhone 3GS as guinea pig. Easy as pie.

Could I stuff any more colloquialisms into that paragraph?

So the overall feeling of the community regarding GP is Thumbs Up or Thumb Down?

Are we waiting for more updates or is this the version that you either like it or leave it, Mister!?:D

it is still in RC3, release candidate 3 (much better than beta). once it is in final Release, then it should be solid.
I am thinking of waiting until it is in final release.

wow is mine the only one who keeps getting the apple logo + the spinning wheel?

edit; nevermind its to re-spring or something

OK, others here have done/recommended that, and I have plenty of PCs in my office. So I'm guessing then there's no problem with data sync, other operations once the 4.1 JB iPhone is once again connected to its faithful Mac?

ROFL! I'm dying here, that was great man. You definitely eased the pain of studying for 3 midterms this week.

Jailbreak Failed

I have been trying to Jailbreak my iPhone 4 with GreenPois0n RC3. But I keep getting "Jailbreak failed" and Retry message and the phone boots up. Anyone knows any solution for this? iPhone 4, iOS 4.1 with preserved baseband, Windows XP SP3

it took me several hours, but i did it! 4.1 and jailbroken! wooo hooo!
it wouldve taken me less if aptbackup didnt crash my iphone.
