If something better comes, it can be integrated or the base for the next USB, like they did with Thunderbolt. USB C is just a connector type that can support multiple protocols. And when it reaches its limit, a new better standard connector will be developed. But the good thing is that it will be used for everyone, that’s why it’s a standard.
