So does the Documents app do what you want?
Partially yes and I see what you are trying to do but that is besides the point somethings a 3rd party app cannot do as Apple does not permit iOS to conduct such actions such as “split tunnelling”.

In none my 11 years of using an iPad have I ever thought “gosh I wish I could move a song from music to my files app! Why can’t i use VPN split tunnelling!?”
Yes, just because you don’t see or thought to have a need does not mean it does not exist. There were many MP3 players in the market now did Steve Jobs says well there is no need for another and decided against the iPod, the same can be applied to iPhone.

There are many people in a variety of age groups that don’t use their iPhone, iPad or computers to its full abilities or don’t use most of what the hardware and software it is capable of do those people say well all I need is an iPhone 4 with a striped down version of iOS. No if you don’t have a need for it that is fine why limit others and who knows maybe you may decide it’s something you may use in the meantime why limit something if it is capable of doing so.

Sounds like the naysayers for using a stylus then Apple released Pencil then suddenly everyone even the naysayers believer it is a great idea and come up with some distorted reason that “oh it’s better now because of XYZ”.

Kind of bummed out at Apple. They spend roughly 9 to $12 billion a year on R&D research. Where is that money going? To put that cost in perspective The Boeing company on their new 787 aircraft, the first flying commercial composite fuselage with all new systems was approximately $12 billion in total not each year.

I think Tim Cook knows the company starting to slack. That’s why he’s been shuffling around Vice Presidents. He recently moved that one vice president off of the watch program because he obviously did not perform.

It seems Apple is unable in recent as to where it wants or how it sees people using the iPad. It’s a crying shame as iPad is the best tablet compared to anything else on the market but is limited by a lack of vision for the OS.
100%. This is where I think MS' vision for the Surface Pro line is much more coherent than Apple's vision for the iPad

A 787 is considerably less complex than a single CPU, and Boeing doesn’t design its CPUs afaik?

Perhaps in 2022, some kind of noise cancellation technology can be found, hmmm where can we get such designs…BlueAnt 2010? Plantronics 2008? Something that makes it quiet and blocks ambient or non-vocal frequencies from the spectrum. I could have sworn my bluetooth earpieces from 2010 did this quite well and those produced in 2016 were even better but my AirPod ”Pro” gets no such treatment.

It will be interesting to see how things play out. Microsoft seems to be refining its vision while Apple flip flops, delays and Android is a lost cause as far as tablets are concerned.

Maybe AirPods Pro 2 will have some onboard storage for cache audio and hopefully the possibility of going solo. Save some songs onto the device, turn BT off when in the ears, go for a run and if it falls out of ones ears BT auto turns-on to be located. Just looking for more capable earphones.

I wonder how much of a redesign the iPad Pro can receive. Feels like at a certain point any of these products (iPhone, iPad, MacBook) you can really only iterative and make minor changes.

Amazing how nice the iPad Pro still feels, especially for a design that's 3 years old. Really curious where they go with it.
I sure hope they keep the same dimensions and thickness. It would be a real shame for all of us with Magic Keyboards to have to ditch them and pay hundreds of dollars 💵 again for a new one. Not to mention the environmental impact the old keyboards will have.

Accessories is a money maker for Apple.

That would be awesome if the new design didn’t feel like it was going to constantly fall out of my ears

Breaking news: There will also be new iPhone and Mac models in 2022. But don't tell anyone.
You forgot to mention that it’ll be the BEST, FASTEST and brightest display ever. With the BEST battery and BEST camera we’ve ever designed in the history of apple design. Like Tina Turner says, “simply THE BEST, better than all the rest” and we simply can’t wait for you to get your hands on it.

Apple needs new speech writers.

Steve Jobs wouldn't approve...that's for sure...if he heard this spiel, he would've demanded that the engineers go back to the drawing board, innovate till they come with a truly revolutionary feature and then get back to him with an actual speech.

The number of people who never met Steve Jobs who know what Steve Jobs would have thought is astounding.

Seriously, this is one of the more intelligent postings in this entire thread. Accessories is a massive monopoly for Apple, given what they charge $20 for a single USB-C charging cable for an iPhone. The markup is absolutely ludicrous, but they know that people will pay those prices. Similarly to an Apple Watch fluoroelastomer sport band costs MSRP ~$50.00, Which likely cost Apple under $2.00 to manufacturer from a casing mold.

iPhone 14 will likely come with some big upgrades for sure. Likely a new design and i hope it is like the one we saw from prosser.

New iPad Pro’s not sure how wireless charging would really work on the big 12.9 model. I imagine the 11 inch iPad Pro will get more improvements as that will upgrade to the mini led display. The 12.9 i think won’t see major changes. I think come 2023 is when we will see that have OLED.

They weren't wrong, Apple just scrapped the design last minute due to manufacturing issues.
Yeah, this is the usual excuse. It is never "my prediction or guessing exercise was wrong" or "my source was not reliable" or "I invented this to increase traffic to my YT channel/instagram account".

Sure, Apple designed a brand new body, brand new curved screen, and redesigned internal components, not to mention the risk of newly creating manufacturing issues where time is even more limited due to the design overhaul halfway through the manufacturing process, instead of just fixing a rectangular design.

That sounds legit.
