My iPadOS experience is great. But then again, I’m not whining about it not being MacOS.I would love to know which iPad OS the thumbs down folks are using.... it can't be the same sucktastic experience everyone else has.

Files.app needs to borrow a lot from Documents.app. Plus why am I unable to load music files directly to Music.app from Files.app. Plus try streaming music to play within Files.app it sucks, integrate Music.app playlist functionality. Files.app needs a major overhaul hence I use Documents.app.My iPadOS experience is great. But then again, I’m not whining about it not being MacOS.
It looks like macOS maybe more suitable for your needs....Files.app needs to borrow a lot from Documents.app. Plus why am I unable to load music files directly to Music.app from Files.app. Plus try streaming music to play within Files.app it sucks, integrate Music.app playlist functionality. iOS does not permit VPN split tunnelling which is also a limitation and no way to read and edit some Acrobat DC files that require I believe JavaScript. I cannot even download the official Adobe Acrobat on iOS to open, read and edit these documents. Need a Mac or Windows for that. Craig fix these thing in iPadOS/iOS 16 rather than the lame iPadOS 15 “upgrade”.
What’s the strangest part is the the iPad mini would probably benefit most from the camera system as it’s a handheld tablet compared to the Pro but hey that’s why we have iPhone. That’s like putting the iPhone camera system on a MBA, very very few people would even consider to use it for its intended purpose which begs the question why bother unless to substantiate its existence to differentiate it.Redesigned IPad Pro: camera layout now mirrors iPhone 13’s.

@KeithBN understands.?? What's that?
Is this some sort of joke?
Not when I am travelling, just because you don’t have a need does not mean a need does not exist. Until Apple release it in an iPadOS update down the road and all we hear is silence from naysayers. It looks like macOS maybe more suitable for your needs....
They can release those via press release.Don't know why AirPods 3 weren't released along with the phone. Makes more sense to release them at a phone/Watch/iPad event than at the Mac event in October. Seems to me there were either production issues or they aren't coming.
About the things missing in the mini 6 and Air 4 from the Pro line is ProMotion, 4 speakers, USB4, FaceID, Faster chip plus RAM, camera system and the various display sizes and LED/miniLED tech. The iPad Pro design is almost perfect as it is. If anything I’d rather they offer a version with no rear camera than a glass back.
Stop treating it like MacOS.Files.app needs to borrow a lot from Documents.app. Plus why am I unable to load music files directly to Music.app from Files.app. Plus try streaming music to play within Files.app it sucks, integrate Music.app playlist functionality. The AirPods Pro and AirPods Max were both released through press releases. So, there is precedent for Apple to release the new gen AirPods through PR.They can release those via press release.
Who is treating it like MacOS? These are pretty basic things a FileManager should be able to handle considering a 3rd party app does this rather well it’s kinda shameful the default app is unable to do so.Stop treating it like MacOS.
Probably the fall, unless they really want to refresh the same time every year now, like they did in 2020 and 2021.I was going to buy the new iPad Pro this year..when it came out I was very excited about it, was going to trade in my 2018 ipad pro 11 inch for it, til people started talking about the blooming, then I changed my mind. So will wait til next yr, not sure how they will fix the screen issue..I assume next yr's model will have an upgraded processor, would be nice to have wireless charging, Id prefer that over plugging it in, but will see..what are the guesses..March/April?
I was very concerned about the blooming, too, but I played around with them in the apple store and didn’t see any blooming. So *shrug*.I was going to buy the new iPad Pro this year..when it came out I was very excited about it, was going to trade in my 2018 ipad pro 11 inch for it, til people started talking about the blooming, then I changed my mind. This is the tablet that I'm looking forward toSounds like the new iPad will be a snooze fest.
No we didn'tBut we just got a full redesign of the Apple Watch!
I agree with you but to be fair Apple hasn't run that AD campaign since the stopped selling the 10.5" iPad Pro.Whether you admit it to yourself or not iPadOS is limited for what Apple’s “what’s a computer?” AD Campaign.
iPad ProNext year is going to be an expensive one for me…have to prepare:
- iPad Pro 11” redesign (hopefully also gets mini-led or OLED)
- Larger iMac redesign or smaller Mac Pro/apple display, have to see how this plays out
- Apple Watch Series 8, hopefully a full redesign
- iPhone 14 (if they go back to the iPhone 4 style, instant buy)
Smaller bezel. The bezel is actually larger on the pro then the older iPad Air.The iPad Pro's design is so perfect that any major change would be a regression.
The square shape watch looked like you were wearing a small iPhone on your wrist. The watch should look like a nice piece of jewelry that so happens to have a screen on it. Most people that liked the redesign liked the “idea” of a new design only.No we didn't
