Phew... OK. I'll leave my Mac Mini M2 Pro Refurbished unopened. Received it yesterday. Not sure if refurbished products can be returned once opened.

I'm expecting an M3-based Mac Pro to be announced and released later this year, nothing less. I know TSMC won't have a great output of 3nm processors, but I know Apple won't sell billions of Mac Pros - too expensive. I'll be happy they announce it - but way too expensive for me.
what everyone should know about Apple's return policy is that is is VERY lax. you can open pretty much anything, use it and return it.

your opened refurbished Mac can absolutely be returned with no additional fee / penalty.

Or maybe the next Mac Pro is M3 debut at Ultra spec and it does like past with a holiday release, preview this summer.
I’d say either Mac Studio gets updated or we see Mac pro. Either way I’ll be happy as I need more RAM than the current studio offers. And 2x M2 Max provides that.

Hoping for a surprise Mac Pro announcement, though I’d never actually need one. It’d just be nice to finish the apple silicon transition fully.

My bet - 15” MBA, Mac Pro and wildcard…an updated Mac Studio as well.
“We’ve renamed the mac studio to reflect its new position, it is now the mac pro, it’s the best professional mac ever, we think you’ll love it. Stays with the M1 for now, so no need to wait for new models, we’ll sell Mac Pro decals for customers who already have their new Mac Pro to relabel their machine at the amazing price of $99”

I do wonder if they'll just call the new Mac Studio "Mac Pro" by adding some modular storage and putting it in the 2019 chassis. I think we would've seen some more solid rumors about a new Mac Pro if it were coming at WWDC (and truly something new or different).

Several new Macs? I'm hoping for the all new 15" MacBook Air Pro and the MacBook Pro Pro to replace the obsolete MacBook Pro.

I remember the 2017 WWDC event was nearly 3 hours long!! Most of the Mac‘s were updated Alongside all the software updates. This event will probably be just as long, if not longer.

There are many Mac’s in need of an update, the iMac being one, but Gurman himself said that Apple was jumping to the M3 for the iMac. I wonder if that’s still the case, or are they going to announce a new 27” iMac Pro with M2 Pro and M2 Max chips. The long rumoured 15” MacBook Air is also said to be announced.

That’s only 2 that i can think of, if Gurman really meant “several new Mac’s“ im stumped as to what others they can announced.

^I remember 2017 WWDC being pretty exciting with all those hardware updates. I think the days of a chorus of people shouting "WWDC is software only!" are over.

Over 2 hours? Does Apple not know about the attention span of its clientele?
Both the headline and the tweet it's based on say "I expect the keynote to be one of Apple’s longest ever," and not the longest ever.
Here is the WWDC23 schedule.. I'm guessing it will end around 12:30PM. So 2 1/2 hours long Keynote.

From what Gurman has said, software will be taking a bit of a backseat this year. I wonder if these hardware announcements are to make up for no Spring event. Apple may of just said, nah we will do one big WWDC rather than an a spring event also.

I won’t lie I'm more interested in what Macs we will see than the VR headset. A 15” MacBook Air will probably have my name on it, especially since im still on an intel MacBook Pro 13”

Given that lunch at Apple Park is planned for 12 PM, it literally can’t be the longest WWDC ever? The longest one was WWDC 2015 with the Apple Music introduction, which was around 2 hours and 20 minutes.
This is exactly my question - how can it be 3 hrs if keynote is at 10am and State of the Union at 1:30pm? Surely the attendees will be given lunch?

I'm always fascinated by Gurman's sources.

We're 5 days away from the keynote. Apple knows EXACTLY what they're announcing. There's zero gray area there.

And yet, Gurman knows that several Macs will be announced, but doesn't know which ones?

Sure doesn't sound like his sources are very high up the org tree.
Yep, and if his sources were high up, they’d likely be fired by now …
