Obviously there's a measure of common sense involved, correct..

One time we were out and saw this young chap had his pickup off to the shoulder and was standing facing traffic taking a leak with everything out for the world to to see. Not sure if he got off doing that or what, but that's a case of indecent exposure.

Depends on the local laws some times, in some municipalities it is only indecent exposure if anyone watching the act gets aroused. Walking home from the pub at 2am I have pissed on the side of the road a few times the county cops would just drive by honk and wave with a smile, I woulda been in some real trouble if one of them got an erection--they probably wouldn't have been sure whether to ticket me or give me their phone number.
