You know how this works, that’s next years model😉VERY suprised Apple did not give this watch satellite connectivity to make it a true Garmin competitor.

Why would you chamfer the single point on the device most likely to get banged and scraped, as it’s there to protect the screenIt's the light reflecting on the chamfer. You can see it in the video (the one just above the pictures)
You can see the watch case already have chips and scratches from the photos.Nicks already? How tough is it supposed to be?
I actually think it's the first Apple Watch where the more dinged-up it is, the better it looks. Makes it look more rugged lol.Nicks already? How tough is it supposed to be?
That's what I'm thinking nowThe battery life is what put me over the edge...ordered one. Figure if it's huge, i'll return and get an 8.
For it to be lights it would have to hit it at oppposite directions which is possible but to shine on one button that doesn’t have it on the other side - so… I used titanium to replace steel in bicycle racing components back in the day and wiping out would scratch the titanium way more than steel and chunks could get scraped out hitting the pavement. Is the frame already scratched or what?
those aren't nicks, bud. they're reflections in the chamfers of the edges due to the lighting.Nicks already? How tough is it supposed to be?
I think the lights thing is very legit , just watch hands on videos on youtube and you will see , plus it's an impossible situation for a brand new device . I think I like the rigid look of the Apple watch ultra , probably for this reason I will buy a case for my S5 Nike edition.
I’m sticking with my stainless steel S5. It has scratches all over the place but they are so light it’s like patina, the titanium will look and feel like real scratches and gouges. However it is a sports device and not jewellery, so getting beaten up is ok for some folk.
If you're coming from Garmin-land, dings are signs you're doing it right.I actually think it's the first Apple Watch where the more dinged-up it is, the better it looks. Makes it look more rugged lol.![]()
It’s disgusting but I like it because it’s differentThat is a big watch. It looks much better than the leaked renders.
The only good thing is that maybe the 9 next year will be something worth looking at. Let’s face it, Apple couldn’t make much more of a balls up than this stupid attempt at design. What were they thinking?I’d totally wear it hiking.
I might buy this if I worked as a zip-line instructor in Alaska or was a mountain climber or something, but as a regular Joe-schmoe that works in an office wearing business attire this is not the watch for me.
Glad it’ll fit the bill for some! But I’d way rather a redesigned classy stainless steel watch. Maybe next year
Those are light reflections, not dings.Look how jagged those screen edges already are! that is just from one day man handling at a expo!!
No dings at all! Those are light reflections, not dings.
You're wrong. Watch the hands-on videos. The "dings" appear and disappear depending on how the light is reflecting. They are reflections. No dings at all!
Just light reflection lol.
Sorry bro but these are very clearly damaged bezels.
