Haha...I wonder if it will sing 'Bicycle Built For Two'.

This is pretty cool. Is there a way to activate it without hitting the button? Just thinking about driving around...not sure how that would work, but it'd be cool if you there was a voice command to engage it.
 
considering u have to push that damn mic button all the time u might as well just open safari urself ^^
 
Pretty impressed with how well it works in the videos .. it will still have to proof itself in real life situations (bg noise and so on), but so far it looks really good.

i didn't know they pulled the ipod icon from ios..
21st is 10 years from the first ipod, i'm a bit sad.

Not sure if it is able to say the owner's name or not. Maybe easier common names like John, James, Mary etc. guy did not have a common english name though.

It will be interesting to see the easter eggs Apple has.

Actually that's a privacy measure. Say you were in a public place, do you really want your phone to announce to everyone what your name is? Well maybe there is a command like "say my name or something …"

Since Siri is being considered your “personal” assistant, I have a feeling it will remain on the iPhone, but connect to other Apple devices. E.g. “Siri play Raiders of the Lost Ark on the AppleTV”

That was a TERRIBLE "review" :eek:

I would have asked to to set an appointment for Nov 28th @1pm,
asked to tx my wife I'll be home 1/2 hour late,
asked it to remind me to pick up the dry cleaning at 4:30pm,
asked if there were any chinese restaraunts close by with delivery.

These would be some useful tasks -

Well I'm sure she can be a really good assistant for me even if she reside in my macbook :D

Also I don't believe I will ever be able to afford giving so much money for a phone, so you know... just daydreaming :p , I will always have mac at least.
 
Unfortunately, it does seem Siri is the 4S' only selling point. I think I'll wait till iPhone 5 till I get a new iPhone. :)
 
Is this guy German or Russian? And how did Siri know to understand English? His calendar said "sreda" for the day of the week when he set the appointment for tomorrow. And sreda is Russian for Wednesday.

What are you talking about? It's there for Canada too. They support English.

Edit 2: It must be because they don't support French yet... Damn it.

Not really. Better camera, faster, available with more storage...

i think hes german, he doesnt have that typical east european accent in his voice. if u know what i mean
