That's it! Faux AI is the most demeaning app I can conceive!
I can't believe Appoe did this. After seeing the demo I cancelled my order for the 4s.
Don't know if this post will post? Nothing seems to really work anyway.
And I am not a newbie to tech!!
just what I did not want...another button to push/touch to enter a command is all it is! Nothing really new....so there is an A5 processor. Big deal.
Still just a toy...lol.....disappointment ...disappointment...
Tomorrow I wipe this ipad2, give it away! ...sell all my Apple stock!
Bail on the Internet and wait for the real 21st century to begin....
Should be in about another 20 years...lol....
Can't believe Apple did this ...Siri is a joke..no worse, it is dismal!
I will not be back to this site again.....bye!
I had always heard that meth really screws people up. Today, I found proof.
I do agree, i think if you have the iPhone 4 , this is quite a dull and unnecessary upgrade, i think if you managed to grab the siri app (why didn't anyone tell me of this before it became famous) before they pulled it, there is absolutely no point in upgrading. And even if you didn't, do you really need Siri?
I have had an iPhone since the beginning and this is the first time, I've never preordered. I feel quite sad but i think I'm going to go with Samsung Note or Nexus Prime, or perhaps a windows 7 phone. I don't mean to sounds selfish, as obviously very sad time for Apple with Steve Jobs passing on but you had 16 months to make a jaw dropping phone......which didn't happen.
I defo think apples IOS is more polished, and Siri is very impressive, but come on guys you are way behind the hardware market......
I think if Apple made it slightly bigger it would of sold twice as many......but sounds like they are already successful.
As of October 15th, it doesn't matter when or if you acquired the Siri app. It will be out of commission and that won't be changing. Siri can be quite convenient in situations where it isn't possible to type something out, but still pertinent that it be done. I probably won't use it much, but I can imagine there are some people who will find it to be a major convenience.
Some people, like myself, find the hardware's inner workings to be more important than whether or not the device itself has been given a makeover. The architecture of the iPhone 4 works for me and is beautiful. I don't need a crazy new design or a 4" screen. I'm certainly not going to jump ship over such little issues. I would rather a phone with better performance than anything else. Furthermore, my iPad is portable enough that if a larger screen is necessary, I have it.
Your argument is extremely petty. "EVERYTHING BUT THE DESIGN IS AWESOME! SO I'M SWITCHING." I wish I could understand how that made sense in your head. Apple has the most polished and intuitive user-experience and Siri has impressed you, but that's not good enough? You need a teardrop-shaped tablet phone, it would seem. So, yeah, all the power to you.
Personally, I'm in it for the 64GB. Had the 4S not been given 64GB of storage as an option, I would have needed a bit more swaying to spend $370 on it. But, being that they gave me a significant upgrade in an area that means something to me (in a technical and not superficial sense) I am able to base my purchase on that and see other plus points (improved processor, camera, etc.) as mere icing on the cake. Your cake, however, needs to be some sort of new, edgy, hipster shape that nobody knows the name of. Good on you...I guess (that's how ellipses work, by the way).
But when you come crawling back, please remember that you went out sounding rather foolish and be humbled for it.
