Seems like the next mini should get A16 or A17, whichever makes the most sense for Apple by that time (but judging by this release it might be the former). As with iPhones, I’m not sure there’s really a good reason to have an M-series chip in an iPad mini, but, again, I could always be wrong.He says the new iPad is an A15. It's A14.
If only it were A15, for that price. No, if you want an A15 you have to get the 1 year old iPad mini.
Such an odd product lineup, this one. I'll hold out for the M1 iPad Mini, hopefully next year and sooner than later. Love my M1 Air and M1 Mac mini
