Still pretty big and I greatly prefer FP reader...
iOS 12 on SE1 is still great. If I'm forced to upgrade, I'd reluctantly consider the 12 mini.

The tiny iPhone 4/4S with its glass back feels like a lead weight in the pocket (I still have mine). I never got over how heavy it was for its size. I remember always noticing its unusually heavy weight in my pocket. Maybe because it's small size didn't seem to justify its weight.

Then the larger iPhone 5 came out with aluminum back and that phone IS light (I still have it). That's the lightest iPhone I've ever owned.

Other members have posted their concerns over the possible heavy weight of the 6.7" pro max monster ((which will have a glass back) and I believe those concerns are warranted. That phone will be a heavy tank. No way around it.

Ima go all the way down from 11 Pro Max to the 5.4" iPhone 12. The 12 Pro Max will be even bigger than the 11PM which is already enormous so gonna give a small phone a try for a year.

The 6.1 might be a nice in between especially if someone is a shutterbug and wants the better camera set up. If the 5.4 has an OLED 120 mhz display I'm likely going that route but I'm pretty certain the 120Mhz display will only be on the pro models soooo..... I'd really have to think about it. Nice to have all 3 size options though.

Bummed that the smallest option is no longer pro :/ I jumped down from the Xs Max to the 11 Pro and have appreciated it being smaller, but wish it were just a little more so to justify the loss of screen size. Maybe "good-enough" features and a nice low price will be enough consolation for me to go 5.4. I really don't want to jump up to 6.1" just to get the Pro features.

Hmmm not as nice as I was hoping. Don’t like the shiny band around it was hoping for the same style as the black iPad Pro or the iPhone 4. Current 11 pro looks nicer than these designs.
I doubt the official iPhone 12 line up will look exactly like this. These are only dummy models. They will be much more refined etc.

The 11 Pro Max weighs nearly a 0.5 lbs which is a bit too heavy for me to lug around in my pocket. That probably eliminates the 6.7” for me. I’m using the 11 Pro so the 12 Pro 6.1” is look mighty tempting.

I done the same, XS Max to smaller 11 Pro. Really interested in the 5.4” 12 but don’t want to lose the Pro features, and I really don’t want to increase in size to the 6.1” Pro. Decisions decisions! 😩

Anyone know where I can get hold of one of these dummy models?

Ive had an urge to try a small size, like the 5.8 (or 5.4 might work) for a while now. however, I do enjoy watching videos on my 6.5” XS Max OLED since it’s the only OLED screen I have, and I’m afraid I’ll miss that on a smaller size. I haven’t planned on upgrading until next year either and I really want ProMotion, so a non-pro 5.4” might not win me over but it is exciting to me.

I went from XS Max to the smaller 11 Pro, and I haven’t looked back! For daily use I feel the smaller form factor is much more practical. Really excited myself for the 5.4”, but reluctant to lose the Pro features.

I think the 4/4S was a perfect example of the notion that the heavier something is, the better quality it is. Cell phones back in the day had often been made with cheap plastics, so to have the iPhone where it felt like it was a single slab of glass and steel was really a game changer. The 5 was far lighter, or so I remember. I’ve got one with a cracked screen that one of my kids got as a hand me down (from me), that I kept just for historical reference.

I think it will be great to get back to the 4/4S form factor, one of my favorites of all the models, although I’m not sure I’ll get the largest Pro model this year, as that thing looks like it will be ginormous.

5.8" screen was perfect for one handed use. 6.1" breaks that and 5.4" is too small and no Pro option *sigh*

This is disappointing to me. I found the squared edges of the iPhone 4 and 5 to be very hard on the hands. Something always felt like it was cutting into my hand and I pretty much had to get a case to solve the problem.

Of course, the glass backs pretty much force you to get a case, since the glass is so slippery.
