Not sure if you saw this insurrection we had the other day, but we can already find our GF/BF/Wife/Husband with our existing devices. These 'tags" will have interesting applications. "Where is my: girl friend/boy friend/wife/husband"

They can just take the battery out. This seems like a huge flaw when locating stolen items. These 'tags" will have interesting applications. "Where is my: girl friend/boy friend/wife/husband"
Yeah, they need a notch, that will make them look great, right? Those look absolutely horrible.
But you said they were dangerous and an environmental issue, and they still sell them..You are so desperate.
This product was designed and launched in 2009! It's not even the latest design which shows just how much you are clutching at straws!
It's 2021 and Samsung designed a NEW product this way.
They are dangerous. But you said they were dangerous and an environmental issue, and they still sell them..
Bit of a double standard going on here......
If you click on the link you initially quoted, they are available and in stock, with the battery included, from Apple. They are dangerous.
If you actually look it up, it has only been determined recently (over the past few years) after extensive research. The advice is not to use these batteries in new product designs.
You'll also find that Apple does not sell this remote anymore.

This is just another example of Samsung foolishly rushing a cheap product to the market to be 'first' and not thinking about overall safety and best design practice in 2021.
I don't know about elsewhere, but where I live (EU) batteries with mercury or cadmium have been banned since 2015, so here CR2032 are fine as far as batteries go. I am considerably more worried about the trend towards disposable hardware, such as AirPods and MacBooks.CR2032 batteries are dangerous and an environmental hazard. As usual, poor design form Samsung.

Most car remote uses them too, even recent car remotes.
Not really the sort of thing you want in a living room right?
I agree they are dangerous, kids and animals die after swallowing them, even when discharged.
Apple sell them here in NZ and supply them to stores too.
There's speculation that Apple’s tracking device may also use a CR2032 too.
Like I said, double standard.
im sure the 10 meters range will be of great help when locating your missing cat...
Those look absolutely horrible.
Preferably one with wireless charging, to get rid of batteries.
Well it's a Bluetooth devices so... uh yeah. This needs a data plan so we can track it ANYWHERE. $3 a month nothing crazy, sorta like ring, kinda.
I don't believe that is the purpose for this device since it's only Bluetooth. This is geared more for locating a misplaced item in your home. They can just take the battery out. This seems like a huge flaw when locating stolen items.
Really? These 'tags" will have interesting applications. "Where is my: girl friend/boy friend/wife/husband"
If they work better than Tile and are rechargeable, I'll buy at least three, and minor details such as high price won't stop me 😎
Mine warns me of low battery.I have a Tile attached to my keys - it has been there for 3 years.... that ONE time I could not find my keys, so I used my Phone to ..... do absolutely nothing ... the tile did not respond, it was out of battery, no warnings just dead.
