I'd held off buying a refurbished Pro 11" but now I'm wondering why?
Ordered the new Pro 11" last week, still hasn't shipped.
Does anyone know if the cameras on this new Pro has the same night time photography ability as the iPhone 11?
No night mode

I have exactly the same setup - 2013 MBP and a 10.5 iPad Pro - so would like to get the 12.9 iPP to replace both IF I could run Xcode/Python as well.Waiting until WWDC to hear if there is any news on Xcode for iPad or not. Would love to retire my 2013 MBP and 10.5 iPad Pro and move to just the 12.9in + new Magic Keyboard.
This is where I'm at right now as well.
Why change every year? Isn't that a burden on the environment?
Concerned a bit about the same, but have you tried FaceID on a newer iPhone? I despised it on my X, but on my 11 I rarely find it annoying.
I think you will struggle giving up MacOS for a pure IOS solution.
Nuts paying $1K starting for a 12.9" device with only 6GB DRAM in 2020. For comparison, $1K Pixelbook Go has 16GB DRAM.
Maybe Apple should've skipped the 2018 rebranding and focus more on porting MacOS to ARM.
Its another money grab. And too many buy in to it.
I think MacRumors nailed it on the head. For all 3rd Gen iPad Pro owners, probably not worth the upgrade.
The MacBook Air and the iPad are nothing alike. No idea why people say “well for this price I’d rather buy a laptop that has no touch screen, pencil support or iOS”. Well ok. Different products.I'll stick with my 10.5" iPad Pro for a while longer. $1K for a basic 128GB 12.9" model and then add another $300 for the new Smart Keyboard with Trackpad. I'd rather buy the new MacBook Air.
