I do think strategically.Guys think strategically! Apple is probably preparing to buy one of the Sports streaming networks if it is allowed! When you have as much money as Apple does you can think and move in Multiple dimensions!
It's awful. This is so barebones I can't think of a reason I'd ever even open it. Already deleted. Maybe they will build it out but it is useless for my needs.
It is completely the apple way. First version of iOS didn't have copy/paste.Barebones is not the typical Apple way. Don't give us crap or some half ass implementation.
My guess is because Eddy wanted it?There are already so many great sports apps available, I don't understand what purpose this serves. Especially given the News app has it's own sports functionality... Feel like I'm missing something.
Yeah which is why the NFL isn't on there since it doesn't even have a 2024 schedule yet. Very hard concept to grasp apparently though. It's a team schedule app.
No live activities, no widgets, no Apple Watch support…
Seems like this was made by a talented 3rd grader for a contest at Apple. I don't get it.
For the 100th time, because this app only displays scores and standings and those sports are not in-season. There isn't even a 2024 schedule released for the NFL yet.once I saw NFL and CFB weren’t supported
2 sports currently not playing for an app that only displays scores and standings.
Makes sense to delete an app for not having an impossible thing on it.
@miamialley you can give the thumbs down all you want, doesn't change the fact what I said is accurate.
It is completely the apple way. First version of iOS didn't have copy/paste.
So basically like their other apps..It's awful.
If this is how iOS 18 is shaping up, I'd be worried.
The UI is awful with zero gestures for navigation and betting odds front and centre. disgusting.
Maybe if Tim didn't send everyone to work on a headset that everyone returned, this trash wouldn't be released.
Without even seeing it, I'd bet $100 it has either zero, or minimal support for auto-racing. Which would be a sad huge oversight.
The app icon is underwhelming. Overly generic.
They really should have handled that better. I spend a lot of time trying to make sure UIs work with large dynamic type.Quick issue with Font Sizes.
I'm an older guy with bad eyes. Still using my iPhone Xs with the dynamic font size moved one notch bigger in the System setting.
When looking at NBA box scores, every player's name is abbreviated to the point of uselessness.
Steph Curry gets shortened to S.Cu...
Happens to every player. The solution would be to have the stats be "slideable" to allow more space for the full name. Or, they could list players with their Last Name first. Or show fewer stats.
I guess I could always get a bigger phone. haha
