Looks like silver aluminum to me. The lighting, possibly a flash, is making it appear whiter than it actually is.Which Series 6 case is that? It looks like the White Ceramic which was discontinued.

You stated that the ECG feature is a “marketing gimmick”, and I disagree with you. What point did I miss? You've missed my point.
Please research it a bit more so you know why I am saying that. And no, it doesn't give peace of mind. Quite the opposite. There is a lot of articles or videos with professional doctors talking specifically about the ECG on the AWatch. I wanted to buy the watch just for this. Then I did my research and changed my mind completely. I would advise you to do your research also so you understand why I said what I said.
You are most likely going to reach the same conclusion once you invest the time to educate yourself more on the topic. I certainly had. I went from 'instant buy' to 'not there yet'
Do it! I made the same decision and can’t wait.I keep trying to justify getting rid of my SS Gold S4 and getting a S6. I'm trying...
Yeah nah sorry but the silver aluminum does look quite cheap ‘n’ nasty, also that watch is too big for your wrist.I don’t think the aluminum looks cheap, in person, but looks are subjective of course. For reference, I use a sport band and one of the newer faces on my Series 5 in aluminum. I had the Series 0 and 2 in space grey and wanted something different so went with Aluminum this go around. If the feature isn’t useful for you, that is fine. And like you, there are doctors that have their own opinion of this or anything related to heath — it doesn’t mean they’re right. After a heart episode of mine, my previous doctor did some tests and told me I’m fine enough to run a marathon the next day. He was dead wrong, and yet he was still considered a doctor.
In the end, it doesn’t sound like it’s for you — and that’s fine. But that doesn’t mean the feature is useless to anyone else on the planet.
Thanks for that. I’m really trying to get a feel for how bright the “always on“ is. The S5 was so dim that I couldn’t really see any benefit to it when I compared it to my S4 in an Apple store a year ago. This seems a little better (even if it’s a bit slow to pop on)Coming from an OG to this Series 6. Was really looking forward to always on. Is it always this slow adjusting dim on a wrist raise though? This is difficult to get used to.....

I simply don’t find the Series 6 a compelling upgrade for anyone with a Series 5 especially, because we have AoD and the current form factor, and even people with the Series 4. I think the Series 6 is less compelling to upgrade over the Series 5 than the Series 5 was over the Series 4. I think it’s a great upgrade for Series 3 and up users.
As a person that had a series 5 (recently sold) the series 6 AoD appears to be much better than the series 5, even though both screens have 1,000 nits brightness with normal screen use. Thanks for that. Good thing taste is subjective!Yeah nah sorry but the silver aluminum does look quite cheap ‘n’ nasty, also that watch is too big for your wrist.
I totally agree. I responded with my thoughts about the lack of appeal simply in the context of coming from a Series 4 or Series 5. Reviews always push the latest like they’re substantial upgrades from previous generations of products and that’s simply not the case. The tech has matured. That’s the whole point.
The majority of iPhone users still don’t have Apple watches, many are on older watches like series 3 or 4 and the series 6 represents a solid update for them. The number of series 5 users who would upgrade anyways would be in the minority given that their existing watch is barely a year old, so it makes zero sense trying to market to this last demographic.
Apple’s Apple Watch lineup this year makes perfect sense in this context.
So 2 sizes too big shoes is subjective? Oh it’s a matter of taste?Good thing taste is subjective!
It’s your opinion it’s too big. Kind of weird my watch appearing large in a photo has you so twisted up. Enjoy your watch...I enjoy mine!So 2 sizes too big shoes is subjective? Oh it’s a matter of taste?
Planning to buy S5 GPS 44mm (₹35990) to accompany my iPhone 11. But the prices are almost the same to SE Cellular 44mm (₹36990) Confused if I should go for SE which is obviously better value or wait for further S5 price drops.
S2 still going strong. Keen to upgrade but see no reason to. Only use for time, workouts, steps/stands, which S2 does perfectly well. Time does fly can't believe it's 4 years already on S2. Maybe next year?

I have been waiting for Apple to release an Apple Watch that was thinner than the original series 0 release (every release since was thicker) but they have finally done it! .1mm thinner. Yeah baby. Order placed.
