In 3rd grade my dad "helped" me assemble this model and him being a top-shelf model builder took great care in mixing the paint colors for the various human organs. He even had me paint the embossed blood veins and arteries on the clear plastic body for greater realism. We glued everything in place and glued the two halves together. I brought it to school and was top-dog in my science class. Later, I went on to win 3rd place in our school's science fair. Not with this model but another low-cost project on aerodynamics. I had to give a short speech to the PTA assembly where they awarded the prizes and then had to type up a 3 page report for presentation at the citywide display of the district's science fair winners.

I preordered one. I am not happy with my latest flagship Android type device, can't switch to iOS until Apple gets some of the basics right (like always-on screen) and well with a phone this cheap, even if I replace it next year, whatever. But I am genuinely looking forward to it. It seems like at least someone is trying something new and considering how stale mobile phones have been for 4 or 5 years now, I guess it's better than...Nothing.
I asked my boss if I could buy it. I usually just say „I need to test on a new android phone“
I like both worlds. Nothing wrong with picking Android. Both are majored in their own way. My biggest issue with android is that default app icons of most 3rd party apps are so damn ugly and when u pick a theme, it’s obviously going to miss icons, so that doesn’t really work either

Correct! That price point is for a base model tho. You are getting more in the config with that price point. It also comes with other goodies too such as screen protectors, a sim eject tray tool.
Gimmicks sell phones. As terrible as that is.Reminds me when adding under lights was all the rage for the young ones and the Scions.

I don't get it. Who looks at the back of their phone? If I leave my phone on the table, it's always face up, so I very rarely even see the back.

As for the phone, I give it a week until someone punches a hole through it. To quote a friend, who won't drink the Apple Kool Aid (insert facepalm here), The Nothing Ear is absolutely the buggiest steaming turd he's ever owned. I'm sure he'll buy every earphone on the market which he's "not being ripped off for by Apple" yadda yadda and spend $1500 on earphones in the next year alone. Moron.

if it came with the higher end snapdragon 888 processor I would buy one.

That takes me back to my childhood. It was an easy to assemble plastic model kit. But, if you wanted it to look really realistic, you had to paint it- which as a child, I had neither the patience nor the skill for. You could also get the same skeleton as a separate kit which could hang from a stand. It was flexible but would not hold its pose. Nothing phone looks like it brings something new. Interesting. I wonder if this is the phone that would be used by that wold creature from The Never Ending Story?
I occasionally put my phone face down, but I do that when I don't want to be interrupted by calls, text, or other notifications.
