Since when has flashbacks been associated with Marijuana? I think you're confused with LSD there buddy. In the 70's there were tests on Marijuana, however, these tests were mixed up with LSD, so this is probably why you think it causes flashbacks. In the 70's, the results were mixed up with LSD symptoms and whatnot, which has been proven false to this day. I love how you're stubborn and ignorant, you have no knowledge about Marijuana. Marijuana has helped my dad who has 2 forms of cancer to survive without pain and be able to live his last days without discomfort. Because of Marijuana he doesn't throw up all night due to Chemotherapy or waste away because he can't eat anything.
I just want you to understand that if you're going to say Marijuana is so bad, then I want you to say Alcohol is worse, I want you to say that Prescription drugs are bad. Stop being biased, I will admit Marijuana has bad side effects, but Marijuana IS relativley harmless. Everything involving smoke has bad side effects, but with Marijuana you can stir up tea with it, cook foods with it, or vaporize it. All these methods provide a safe way of consuming Marijuana.

I'm all for the decriminalization of cannabis, but I'm also for the truth regarding its virtues. Not to diminish marijuana's well-documented qualities to relieve the pains of cancer and AIDS patients, among others, but there's insufficient evidence to suggest people should use marijuana for the relief of stress-related mental problems.

First of all, airforce has made valid points, don't gang up on him. I really thought all mac users were intelligent until I saw this thread, I was wrong. If some people need marijuana as a palliative care - ie. to ease their death, then go ahead, it is only the "fun-*****-silly" that I don't like, which is basically 90% of everyone that smokes it.
As for your "F***ed up S***" list, you have it nailed pretty well.

i don't smoke pot, never will. i think it's dumb and not for me. but i think it should be decriminalized, and/or made legal.
i would assume, based on this thread, that airforce:
never eats unhealthy food
never drives over the speed limit
never smokes/drinks/does anything of the sort
drives an ultra low emissions vehicle (pollution kills), or better yet, rides a bike/walks everywhere
and many more

You've always had good points over many of the years we have been both posting here. I'm glad to hear your take on marijuana. i agree 100% on allowing you to make your own choices in life and not having the gov't regulate them. only issue is if/when those choices affect others, but that's not the issue at hand here.

I believe last year campus police set up a website listing pictures of everyone who smoked pot on that field and had rewards for naming who they people were. Am I correct on that?
Either way it's a pretty crappy scenario.
