My story starts with iPhone X.... this year i went with xs max. I couldn’t stand it’s weigth and big size so I went for Xs. Battery on Xs was truly awful and forced me to go for the Xr. Best iPhone I ve ever owned period. I only regret I didnt get it sooner. Xrs bezels are like an urban legend....never bothered me. Seriously i don’t even notice them. it’s the first iPhone since i started using Apple Watch both with an iPhone that i reach bed time with 30-40% remaining battery. Another urban legend is it’s mediocre display... it’s the best non oled apple display to date....to me colors feel more popped out and vibrant than previous LCD iPhones. I don’t care about the more accurate and even more vibrant colors of oled cause i prefer the more brightness of the lcd panel and also the screen is a lot easier to my eyes.....with oled my eyes always got tired after a while. Seriously if an LCD phone was priced similar with an OLED version i would go for the LCD one. I am not a photography alcoholic so no issues for me there....selfies with my family are exactly the same with oled iPhones. The only thing i miss from Xs is the trackpad keyboard feature which was easier to enable by force touching anywhere in the keyboard not by only pressing space button. I know first world problems....:p

I want future iPhones to reduce their weigth and become slimmer. I so miss 7 plus. It was a joy on the hands.

Ok? How was Face ID average? What are you comparing this to? I mean, in terms of authentication and biometric security strong hold with 3-D facial mapping, It’s far better than ‘average’.

Didn’t work very good at angles, v2 way better. Like tid v1 to v2, simple.

Just got back from Bell. I ended up getting the white XR 64GB.. honestly if anybody has any reservations like I did, do not worry. The colours are a lot better than I thought they'd look and I cannot see any pixels from normal viewing distance. It's nice to be back on iOS.

Congrats! Nice choice I am sure that you will love it.

I’ve gone through phases with my XR. Loved it at first, then was really missing 3D Touch and the zoom lens from my 7 Plus, but now, I’ve resolved the fact that other than those two features, I really do love the XR. The 6.1” size is perfect, incredible speed and fluidity, takes wonderful pics, still has Haptic Touch function in useful parts of the UI, wireless charges, and battery is great. There’s very little to not like about the phone honestly. I’ll probably keep it until 2020 and my wife will upgrade this year. I’ll do the Watch Series 5 this year instead.

same here, back and forth... I like the camera of the XR and the battery life is amazing; but I also miss the weight and size of the 8... thinking on going back maybe, I´m gonna miss the portrait mode yes, but the 8 was great on hands
