Your eyes certainly won't regret it when they aren't being silently tortured by PWM.

iPhone XR is a great phone. Enjoy!

The only thing that makes XR ugly are those bezels.
For me, the bezel issue is overblown. It’s millimeters. When I look at my screen I see what I am looking at. Yes, if I stop and look for bezels I see them but they are so slightly wider than the XS I had.

Anyone who uses a case for their iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max and complains about the iPhone XR bezels is a funny person.

So true, also the bezel on Apple watch series from Original to 3, looks to be around the same size as the bezel on iPhone XR, and the apple watch is a much smaller device, meaning a much smaller screen to body ratio than the iPhone XR.

Seems strange that it was not a major issue on the apple watch but such a big issue on the XR.

The Max is an amazing phone - however this poor battery life is enough to make me want the Xr.

I just exchanged my max for the XR and don’t regret it at all. The battery life is one reason. It’s also just bigger than I need

Not sure how much this would help but turning on smart invert should save some battery life. Might want to give it a try. Although it does make some apps look pretty wonky.

I’m not trying to pick on you, but why do people say this? How can someone say that the Max has ‘Poor battery life’. With my Max, I never had an issue with the battery life being anything less than what I expected, but I also adjusted my settings accordingly, and maybe my usage isn’t as heavy as yours, but perhaps look at your battery statistics on why the battery life is struggling.

Max battery life is no batter than Previous Plus models. XR is a battery champ. Maybe battery life is their priority.

Even with the previous Plus models, the battery life was excellent, which Max would be a comparison to that. There is nothing ‘Poor’ about the Max battery life, keep in mind, settings greatly differ for everyone, which is a core reason why someone may be experiencing battery life that is variable.

I got both because I wanted both - I use them around equally with my main Sim in the XS Max. The R was too nice, though to pass up. I have 2 phones every year.

Not sure if you heard of it but the Halide app is pretty good for taking portraits of pets and objects with the iPhone XR.

Can’t help with the preview links, hopefully apple adds that function to haptic touch.

I find Focos also does this and, in my experience, is more consistent. Can also change focus point.
