Not just webpages. Had mine over a week now, I LOVE how apps are still in memory when I go back to them, sometimes hours & many other apps later. Outside of forum scrutineers (of which I'm definitely one), the 6+ is still a great phone, but the 6S+ irons out the main niggles I had with it i.e. ram, and the constant app/tab refreshes.

I usually never upgrade my phone each year. I've been on the every other year and straight number iPhone cycle. Last year I got the 6 Plus and as much as I loved the larger phone, I hated the lagginess and all the glitches. And really hated the reloading of tabs all the time. So I upgraded to the 6S Plus this year. I got my rose gold phone on Thursday and have been totally loving it. I checked for all the issues listed on the forums and thankfully my phone is super clean, with a great looking screen and the preferred TSMC chip. And it just works! :)

So for me - the upgrade was definitely worth it.

I upgraded and was worth it for me. I was not happy with 6+ performance. 6s+ performance is very good.

If you are happy with your 6+ and do not miss any new features then there is no need to upgrade, obviously. :)

I have been using the iPhone 6S Plus for a few days now coming from the OG 6 plus. At first, it felt like a great upgrade. However, I decided to jailbreak my 6 plus and see what it has to offer since I have not done so in awhile. I did the following:

  • Downloaded forcy touch (Works like a champ)
  • Downloaded universal touch (peek and pop)
  • Downloaded transparent dock
Those are the only tweaks I downloaded. I turned on reduce transparency. I downloaded transparent dock for this purpose so I don't have to view an ugly gray bar throwing off my wallpapers. I honestly have to say that I just might keep my 6 plus since the speed difference is negligible. Now, the 6S plus is definitely snappier and more fluent doing day to day tasks. Not taking anything from it. However, I have a few more days with the phone so lets see how it goes.
