Check that. It is 12:30 in Shanghai and still no freaking word on any movement if any. How many FedEx a flights are there a day from Shanghai?
I don't know how accurate FlightAware is, but this list of scheduled departures doesn't show any FDX flights out for the rest of the day. Of course, there are other cargo flights going to Anchorage, so it is possible another airline could be used at times, or maybe it doesn't list every scheduled departure.
Or perhaps a different airport is used at times, but none of the other Shanghai airports show any activity
Don't despair though, it'll work out ok in the end
I wish FedEx's site was bit more transparent in telling the consumer where **** is, and what their clever code terms mean. Their FAQ is worthless for answering questions like, "Do you *&^@ER$ ship on Sunday, and if you don't does stupid that got messages like "FedEx received after Cutoff" mean it will be shipping the next day first thing? When is first thing? I mean seriously FedEx sucks. I think I like UPS better.
Almost 2 pm in Shanghai on Monday and still no change in my "Prepared for Shipment" status. It has been over 40 hours now.
2 minutes after posting this, I got an email from Apple saying it has shipped along with the tracking information.
Good morning guys. Today it's May 3rd, which should be the day my 17 MBP should arrive. But it's not even shipped yet?
Don't know what to do?
Ouch that sucks, call apple? Really hope my MBP ships soon.

Edit above - ordered on the 14th, not the 16th. Just today marked "Prepared for Shipment". Supposed to be here on Thursday. I'd be a bit surprised if that happens.
Was prepared for shipment May 1. Now it has shipped today May 3. Will be delivered to me ahead of schedule. May 6 instead of 10 May - 17 May stated originally. Pretty quick for CTO.

I just got an alert that my mbp is on the delivery truck, but I forgot to put the presign tag on the door. FML.

I Ordered a 15" MBP HR+AG, 2.4ghz on April 28th from MacMall. The following day the system showed a status of "backorder", so I called them and was told it would be SHIPPED no later than may 11th because the item seemed to be unavailable. After continuously checking the status on-line the next day or so, i was surprised to see that the computer had already been shipped. Today, only 5 days later, it shows as being on truck for delivery. I can't wait since this is my first Mac.

Call them and speak to their International Shipping department.. They usually can provide more info than what you see on the site.

As I pulled into the parking lot at work, I saw the Fedex van parked out front
It's been a long wait, but finally I can relax and enjoy my machine. Thanks to all in this thread that have contributed useful knowledge. I really felt like a CIA agent tracking a nuclear missile across the globe. lol

My order went to "prepared for shipment" overnight here (pacific west coast, checked it at 2am and it hadn't shipped, just checked it now at 7:15am as I woke up and its ready for shipment). 10:15PM in shanghai; which means it won't ship out til tuesday in shanghai. Any hopes of me getting it for friday?
Mine as well... Just changed to in transit...Thanks for the update, just checked and mine is on the same flight!
