Anybody who ordered a CTO around April 16th and haven't got theirs shipped yet ?
I ordered a CTO on the 19th.
15.4" / i7 / 7200RPM / 8GB Ram / Apple Care
It was supposed to ship in 5-7 days, after 7 business days I got another delay for 4 business days. That deadline ended today without it shipping and no email if it was delayed again or not. I don't want to keep getting delayed so I just cancelled. Apple will have to do without my money for now.
Sounds very frustrating
I think i'm in the same situation as you. I'll keep waiting until wednesday next week. If there isn't any updates or explanation, i will cancel my order too.

WOW. FedEx is true to their word (at least in my case) Expected delivery by 10:30am. But i went down stairs moments ago and i saw a fedex truck roll down my hill and stop directly in front of my house (9:54am) and i went to the door, signed, and now i'm here to say that im now a 1st time NEW owner of a MAC!!!!!!
The cardboard box my mbp came in is nice and clean, no dinks or holes. looks great!! Haven't opened it yet ^^ gunna wait till i get what i need to get done for the day out of the way 1st, because i know if i unbox it now i won't be doing anything at all today but playing with my new toy!!!!!
Thanks to all who have helped out with the transitioning info for my mbp and i hope everyone else gets their mbp soon safe and sound!

Just so you know. I went through the same thing in Anc on the 21st. Some facilities don't work their bins till delivery date. It would be nice for FedEx to admit that in some areas they only provide 3 day not 2-3 day. If you won't make an attempt at two days it's false advertising to give people the idea that it could be two days when you know in advance it's a 3 day service.

No way! Call now and see what the rep says. It should get a scan if in Sea within an hour.

I ordered a MBP 15.4/2.66/CTO on May 3 and paid for 2-3 day shipping. My order confirmation says it should deliver May 11-17.
I really need it to arrive by May 21 so that I can use it to work while travelling. What are my chances of getting it in time?

Well, good news after all: I checked my status and it is out for delivery despite what the person I spoke to said. Apparently one hand of Fed Ex doesn't know what the other is doing
So I posted that it was still n Memphis, called and asked if it was correct. I was told that it was in Seattle. I checked again and it showed as in Seattle sort facility. The fedex rep said I should have it before noon. We'll see.
Mine was on a truck by 0745 local last time around for my morning delivery. I'd keep watching.... But I'm confident that it will be delivered very soon.
I thnk fedex is just slow w/updating package delivery. The sort notification was at 5:35am
Oh I don't think anything sinister is going on. I'm pretty sure this is the usual confusion ups has when they try to handle shipping. It could be just for me but they typically run in circles when I order things.
My i7 MBP was shipped monday. I got a mail from apple that said it would be here on the 14th of may or before.
But when i track my shipment on apples website it says on currently delivery status that it is going to be there on may 7th?
But that all the info there is? nothing else?

How come the 'ships in' dates from the Apple Store website say 1-3 days (and gets updated frequently) and yet many people (me including) are waiting for 10 business days without the thing being built?
Basically Apple's website is BS - they probably just use a random number generator...

Most likely there are delays on certain parts for custom orders (matte screen, etc). I know Dell is able to note which parts create delays when you are customizing so you know ahead of time, I wonder if Apple's system is not able to do that also.
