Order Date: Apr 13, 2010 at 01:36 PM PDT - 2.4Ghz base model with HR matte.

Has just been shipped.....only bad news, got it cheaper on my girlfriend's student discount plus the difference in prices between UK and US, was going to pick it up while I'm visiting her in Boston, but now probably won't leave the country because of this ****ing volcano cos my ticket is tomorrow afternoon!

Mine has shipped as well. Estimated Delivery date of the 19th. Hoping I get it tomorrow, but I dont think UPS does Saturday deliveries in Canada.

Here is the info for my package:

SHANGHAI, CN 16/04/2010 20:09 EXPORT SCAN
16/04/2010 12:06 ORIGIN SCAN
CN 16/04/2010 3:03 BILLING INFORMATION RECEIVED

UPS should show you the delivery date when you track it, so that would tell you.

Not to be a total downer, but I seriously doubt anyone will get Saturday delivery regardless of where they are -- Saturday delivery costs a lot more and it's not standard for any company to ship products that way.

Is yours a BTO? If so, based on my experience and from what I've read in this forum, it's doubtful. Seems like shipping notifications go out in the evening, as all BTOs appear to be built in China.

It finally shipped via a Carrier with a strange name...

No tracking number. I have this instead: In transit to final destination - carrier details to be updated shortly. Do you know what it is?

Sadly my estimate delivery date jumped from the 29.04 to the 3.05 is that really so long?

Thanks

Hi Res Anti Glare

I ordered when store came up on 13th
Order was classified "not yet shipped"
Changed this morning 15th to "prepared for shipment"

This morning 16th order shipped from China will arrive by 21st

Once goes to "prepared for shipment" should ship by next day

My CTO MacBook Pro Core i7 shipped from China yesterday. I specified expedited shipping so I'm hoping it will arrive either Monday or Tuesday.

Mine just flipped from "Not yet Shipped" to "Prepared for Shipment."

Ordered on the morning of April 14 (the day after the announcement), shipping to NJ:

MBP 15.4/2.53/CTO
Custom configuration
2.53GHz Intel Core i5
4GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRM - 2x2GB
256GB Solid State Drive
MBP 15" HR Glossy WS Display

Ordered 4/14.

15" MBP High Res Glossy
2.66 GHz i7
4GB Ram
500 GB HDD at 7200 RPM
I paid the $24 for expidited shipping. Anyone know if that includes transite on saturdays?

Not Yet Shipped  Maybe its because of the High Res Screens?

get ready to get disappointed then. It will be maybe on Monday but probably later .. certainly not tomorrow.

Hahaha. I know I know. But ive been disappointed for the last 4-5 weeks every Tuesday! One more is nothing!

I am having the exact same experience. Its irritating that I paid $18 extra for 2-3 day shipping. If I Apple had been more transparent and set clearer expectations, I would have gone to the store to buy. 2-3 days to ship is actually 5 and they didn't include the 2-4 days to "prep for shipping".

@abnospam. Mine shipped last night.

I ordered 15" core i7, 8gb ram, 128gb ssd with HR anti glare screen. I place order on Tuesday 7:30am pst. It shipped shipped 11:30 last night est, which was actually 11:30am shanghi, china time. Expected delivery is tues April 20th.

FONA? I believe they are receiving their new MacBook Pros on Tuesday, but it probably varies from store to store. You didn't ask when you preordered it? (Or did you do it online?)

Yah they said they'd get theirs tuesday or wednesday - this was the big fona at Strøget and they said if anything, that shop will be the ones to get it first. BUT the guy also said (who was a jerk, and didn't seem to know anything about the mac's) that normally BTO take two weeks before they get them  I was like WTF...asked if they got many other orders - "not one!" he replied...but didn't wanna say it could be shorter, he said it'd take a couple weeks so that's what I have to go by atm...It wasn't even in their system, so he ordered it and typed up the reciept but said I'd get the real reciept when I get it (with the correct specifications and model #'s etc...)
