Mines come up as CTO because I added a mini displayport to VGA adaptor. :(
it wouldve been quicker to buy it separately. I didn't know they'd class that as a custom order.

My orders still at Under Review Status. I guess Barclays have to pass my signed agreement to apple or something before I get any shipping information.

Yay, it left AK! Now i'm starting to wish i ponied up the extra $18 to get it sooner. Estimated arrival in MI is Wednesday. :mad:
 
Mine is still in Shanghai, with an estimated delivery date by 10:30 on Wednesday? Will it make it by then?

I originally had standard shipping but I called apple up and they changed it to 2 day shipping for free. Two hours later it went to "prepared for shipment" and then I got a tracking number later that night. Since it says it will deliver by 10:30, is it indeed 2 day shipping?
 
For you lucky new owners -- how long after 'prepared for shipment' did it actually ship out? I'm in the States so I'm not anticipating any delays due to the volcanic ash.

mine was a matter of hours. it went to prepared overnight, and by 9:30 a.m. was marked shipped.
 
WTF mine is stuck at SHANGHAI

As you guys can see, my MBP is still stuck in FedEx in Shanghai...
I'm so sad.... :(

I ordered MBP 15.4/2.66/CTO w/ high-rez Antiglare LCD and 7200RPM HDD on April 13th 6:35 EST.

I also paid for faster delivery option. lol ($18.xx)

Mine is exactly the same. The funny thing is, it did not get the "International Shipment Release" status that stuff from China always gets from clearing customs in AK.

Anyway, from past experience, there is good chance that we could get it tomorrow, even though mine is marked for Wed, but I always get stuff from Apple the next day after it comes from AK, arrives in MEM and gets sent to me in STL, all overnight.

It's way cheaper for FedEx just to push packages thru their network as soon as possible and specially if they are under capacity as sunday flights always are, than to store it for no reason for a couple of days occupying precious space.

I sent a package to MEX on wednesday of last week by FedEx Express and it was to be delivered on wednesday, but alas, it was received on friday, way ahead of schedule.

Same here, my order was put on the 13th as well ,at 7PM (pacific), and its still in Shanghai. This is going to be awful for me since I have to get it shipped to Florida first then to Puerto Rico, and if it arrives after Tuesday it wont be shipped to me until next monday. :(

Ok. This is fairly familiar. This is the laptop sleeve I ordered w/ my macbook pro. For those who has their package near their houses already, my sleeve was in Tampa from Memphis and was delivered the next day. This is the same for my MBP right now, Fedex should update the status to Tampa tonight. Possible chance for Monday delivery, if no purpose delaying occurs. I might have to call and give them a piece of my mind if they do. :D

I have expedited shipping and estimated delivery says Tuesday. However, I called fedex and asked if it can stop in chicago because most packages stop there before coming to Wisconsin (where I live) and because I wanted to go to Chicago tonight and I'd be back tuesday morning in time for the package to arrive.....However, fedex told me since its express its going straight to Wisconsin from tennessee (it wont make any other stops), so do you guys think it could come tomorrow instead of tuesday? For those who has ordered in the past and got a day earlier, did it ever update online on tracking update that it would be arriving a day earlier? If this is the case, I'd rather stay here instead of going to Chicago then.

Call the final destination office asap and ask if you can pick it up there. If you don't like your answer call back on the next shift. Or 4-6 hours later and ask again.

I posted earlier about being frustrated that my package was 40 minutes away from me then detoured to Memphis.... well check this out...

That's crazy, I also ordered very early on the 13th (it took them 3 days to get to "prepared for shipment"), and mine is still stuck in China too:

I've seen this happen with FedEx on a package my girlfriend had sent to her from an Ebay purchase (incidentally it was an ibook). However, there were some extenuating circumstances that likely led to that odd behavior of bouncing between cities. Best of luck.....

Mine is still at not yet shipped. Order date was April 15 at around 12:14pm.

I ordered a 15" HR Glossy and 7200rpm HDD
