Has your MBP shipped yet?

Just got the delivery confirmation email. I had it delivered to work so that someone could sign for it. Unfortunately, I'm at the other office right now but I think I'll be finding an excuse to leave here very soon... :D

And as for this afternoon and work... *cough cough*
 
I ordered an i7 15' with a 500GB HDD at 7200 RPM and the High Res glossy Screen on Wendesday night and it just shipped this morning :) my delivery is estimated for thursday. Has anyone experienced their laptop being delivered a day earlier than the estimated date?
 
Update:

15" MBPro, ordered 1AM Wednesday PST, now in the UPS system in Shanghai. Yes, UPS handles expedited shipping to Canada now I guess:

My estimated delivery date is Wednesday, so the whole thing will have taken a week. IMO the $23 for expedited was worth it.

They could be waiting to fill up a plane (doubtful that they'd have that problem, but who knows) or your particular pallet was moved but not scanned. A lot of us thought our MBPs were sitting in China until we received belated updates saying they'd already landed in Anchorage and/or were on their way to Memphis.

I really dont know much about how these things work but judging from other peoples exp. it seems like something should have happened by now... :confused:

This is probably totally unrelated but the text on the fedex page just went from red to black...

Maybe I'm sensitive but I did not like the look of that red text.

FedEx, why do you taunt me so... left Oakland at 9pm last night for ... South San Fran perhaps? Back to Memphis again? Where could it have been for 10 hours already? Is she On Vehicle For Delivery, are you just holding out on me?
 
Do you think maybe the red text was a weekend thing? I think I remember it switching from black to red Friday afternoon...
 
so my macbook pro is on the truck to be delivered to my house today, what happens when your not there to sign for the package for fedex? whats the process?
 
My estimated delivery is still set at April 22 by 4:30pm but my tracking says it is in my city on a truck for delivery! I thought it would be stuck in ATL until tomorrow but looks like it got here in the past couple of hours. :D

They take your money and you don't get your computer. Bummer dude.



No. They leave a little note that says they tried but failed to deliver the package. You can then pick it up at your local facility after a certain time (after the truck gets back there) or they will try again tomorrow.

You could be right actually... maybe when there's a significant disruption to their deliveries, they change the website text color? Hmm. I even googled for a reason but couldn't find it. Must be a trade secret!

Go to your apple store order history page, click "pre-sign for this shipment," print the document, sign & leave at the front door. Well, only IF you trust the package to be left at your door...

what if i dont trust it to sit at my door lol so i dont sign it, where does it go? can i pick it up?

You can pick it up unless u want them to deliver it the next day...they leave a note at the door saying sorry we missed you and on there shows the time you can go and pick it up at a specific office listed on that note.
 
Mine finally changed to "in transit" at 10:16 after sitting all weekend in shanghai after missing the fedex cutoff...

Any word on what flights we have coming from china right now?
