Just got an In Transit message from Shanghai...maybe there are some extra flights out of Shanghai that got missed? I thought there was not supposed to be anything new until tonight/tomorrow.

Yup. Sounds like there are a few of us that just for 'in transit' updates. Not sure where or how they are in transit though. Anyone know what flights from Shanghai to Anchorage are coming up?
Should it take more than two weeks after status shipped?
My order changed status to shipped on the 17th, but estimated delivery is 4th of May.

Same situation here, with just few minutes difference between my times and yours. What'd we do wrong?
Ordered mine a half hour after the store opened on Tuesday.

In the same boat as you folks. I was thinking that "Left FedEx origin facility" meant that I was at least in the Americas somewhere. Nope, still in China at 9PM...
Sounds like you ordered about a day later than most of the people posting right now. I would hang in there. It'll probably change its status either today or tomorrow.
Mine in Atlanta has been delivered.. For prosperity's sake, here's a look at the total track.. Was showing an estimated delivery date of tomorrow until the actual delivery occurred.
Seems that FedEx's tracking is a little off. Mine is scheduled to be here on Thursday and is on a truck for delivery right now! Hopefully I'll get it sooner rather than later; I left school early so I could sign for it. haha.

For months now I've been waiting for the new refresh like everyone else.. Now the wait is over and I've decided to not order online and do another wait game...soooooo I took my son and drove to the Chicago Apple store and made the purchase. The whole experience was awesome and I don't regret my purchase! We stayed at the Omni Hotel on Michigan which is right across the street from the Apple Store. How sweet! When the doors opened we were greeted with clapping hands from the experts and my purchase was made minutes later. Bought the 13" 2.66 with Apple Care and drove home a very happy man!

I was just looking at this as well. I can't seem to find the scheduled flights either.
There's a fedex flight from taiwan scheduled to land in Alaska at 5:04PM EST and one from hong kong scheduled to land in Alaska at 5:03 PM EST
There's also 2 flights from Tokyo scheduled to land in Alaska at 1:25 PM and 1:46PM EST.

Any, I finally got an update. It appears not to have left Shanghai after all, and the delivery date is now pushed back to April 22. I really hope it leaves China soon.

What does "In Transit" mean when the location is still China? Does it mean it has left on a plane or is it still moving within China?
Yeah.. but my 17 left Shanghai and ended up in GUANGZHOU somehow.. IT could have hopped on a flight through Hong Kong or Tokyo without getting scanned again.. who knows.. I guess we'll know when the flights touch town in alaska.
