you have a depature scan from kentucky?? where in canada are you?
There are few UPS routes into Canada from the US that aren't from SDF...see the end of the mini-FAQ in my sig concerning general UPS stuff.
Most Canadians will indeed go through SDF, though some on the West Coast may go through ONT.

My package landed in Memphis at 12:05AM - - is there enough time for it to be successfully transferred to this flight http://flightaware.com/live/flight/FDX1430 that leaves for SLC at 3:14AM? I have standard shipping and my estimated delivery isn't until Thursday, but FedEx wouldn't pass me up for a direct flight to my city from MEM right? If it gets on that flight it will land at 5:15 with plenty of time to be delivered today!

I give you a 50/50 chance. They seem to purposefully delay more with standard shipping, as it is; however, that's still just one day earlier than estimated, as you said, and we've seen plenty of packages delivered as such. (My own MBP got in a day early this morning, < 24 hours after leaving Shanghai...)

I called Apple about the delay, "I'm sorry sir, there is nothing we can do. Have you called UPS?
I just got off of the phone with UPS and they tell me that they are sorry I have been given wrong information as to my delivery dates ( the 16th, the 19th, the 20th, the 21st and the 22nd.) Now they say it won't be here until late Monday the 26th.
It sat on the ground in China for over 79 hours. More than three days!
It has been sitting around in Louisville all day.
I feel like taking this thing back. UPS is taking all the joy out of this.
You are probably right. I guess this is what happens when you are on hiatus.

I AM IN THE SAME BOAT!! I'm from just outside of Toronto. I kept hoping that it would get here early!! I'm super dorky and was DREAMING about my beautiful new machine! Wish I'd used Mac earlier...

Very sim timeline (almost exact) except I live in Anc and I still can't get it. Post or IM me when you get it. I'm wondering if you'll get it first. I have a FedEx mgr calling me tomorrow about hijacking my MBP all freaking day (and night) in Anc.
If it's sitting in Louisville on the 20th there is no reason for it to take 6 more days. Ask for a supervisor and ask why? There's flights every day, tomorrow for example....
Depends a little on where you're at. But, most FedEx and UPS will deliver by the time they promise it. What most of us are griping about is that they hold it until the original date of delivery even if it's sitting in their warehouse for a day or two.

yayyy my computers finally got to Newark! it says that its supposed to be delivered Thursday evening but does anyone have any situations where it got delivered earlier? I don't think the trip from Jersey to Maryland could take a day and a half but who knows..

We've seen quite a few deliveries a day earlier than the estimated delivery date...including my own that made it to me in the Boston area < 24 hrs after finally leaving Shanghai!
Are you expedited or not, and whereabouts in MD are you? It's possible you may have been on FDX1951 EWR-IAD. Sometimes it takes up to a few hours for those scans to update... You may have been put on a truck in Newark, especially if not expedited; it's possible you'll see a delivery today, but it may not be until tomorrow...
No it wasn't expedited. I am near DC though. That's exciting that you received it earlier! Hopefully I will too, even though it doesn't matter because I ordered two computers and me and my friend are going to open them together on Friday.. so that would just be another tantalizing day knowing that I physically have a computer and I can't mess with it!

So I'll just kick back and wait til I can use your shipping info as a reference.

Dang. Looks like you were right. Flight left about 10 minutes ago and no activity on my package. Unless FedEx is slow to update... I wasn't on that flight and that erodes any possibility of it being delivered today. Heh... Better luck next time. Good night!
