Has your MBP shipped yet?

WooHoo - mine my it to my local delivery office. It should be in my hands by 10:30 AM. I'll probably be checking on this thread every once in a while but if I don't post here again then so long and thanks for all the fish.

I think majority of the folks in the US got fedex and those were the ones who are early! I have had my imac(2days early) and macbook pro (next day i order) came early last year..and both were with fedex. I have another shipment with UPS on this same current order as my MBP, it contained a palm wrist guard and a keyboard protector...it was shipped on 16th...then nothing happen until yesterday I suddenly got a departure scan from Mississauga...which is 3days later. Why the hell apple pick UPS? I don't know, they are one of the worst if not the worst courier company.
 
Do you reckon my CTO MacBook Pro order will take 5 days before it ships or is that a worst case scenario?
I only added a VGA adaptor.

Depending on work load that can take up to a day. Then your order goes into waiting to be built. After it's built, it's packed & shipped. It's at this point, the "ships in" days apply. Thanks for the info. As long as the delivery estimate apple put in my order confirmation email pans out I'll be happy. Although waiting two weeks is a long wait since I've already given my parents the MacBook that I'm replacing.

I'm in the 5-7 day range as well and all I am hoping is maybe there is a backlog of systems and parts because of the weather in Europe and maybe if that clears up, then we will start seeing the production line pick back up. I know I'm reaching a bit there.

I can't believe my order still isn't even prepared for shipment! I ordered on April 15 and still nothing. Apple Support isn't helpful at all and just tells me to wait. The hell?
 
UPS tracking on Web is a SHAM!!!

I just got worse news from UPS via phone:
My MBP has been sitting in Louisville since 9:28am Tuesday morning as well waiting to come to TORONTO (....I'm on the phone on hold with UPS right now as I type this....the friendly woman on the other end is attempting to find out more info for me. She said that my package isn't scheduled to be delivered to me until 04/26 even though I told her that tracking info from the UPS website had stated that it would be delivered 04/23 and then an updated 04/22 delivery and now no delivery information. She said that was strange because the internal info she has states that it was always scheduled for delivery to me on 04/26. I asked her why I wouldn't have access to that internal UPS delivery date and she couldn't answer. She just said that the package will definitely be going from Louisville to Pearson Int....but she couldn't tell me what day this would happen. They (customer service) don't even have access to UPS flight info!!!!!????

In my experience, FEDEX has been much quicker and more transparent during the delivery process than UPS....I just wish that the UPS website tracking matched their internal tracking info...UPS, you're a tease!!!!!

Argh! I'm with you on that same louisville status, and mine is only coming to Atlanta, a few hours away from Louisville!
 
I am also a little annoyed as mine has been in Louisville since yesterday morning and has not moved since. What gives? anyone call ups and get anymore info. I thought about calling but do not want to get someone upset at ups,

First off I am new to the whole Mac thing. Was raised on PC and work with PC's but I never did like them. Last summer when our old Desktop crash I gave in am bought an iMac. since them we have added a MacBook (Wife) & yesterday I just purchased the new MacBook Pro for myself. I love my new MBP as it is perfect for work.

4 days, so it should have been shipped off already. Apple Support actually told me that it was scheduled to ship off Monday the 19th, but then later said that I have to wait because of vulcanic activity and blah blah. Seems pretty weird when others have had theirs built despite the vulcanic activity.

i'm in ATL. you are one of the only other poor souls who got shipped on UPS rather than FedEx for US addresses. I called, and got nothing. said it cleared customs last night. no explanation for why it hasn't moved on again. told my my delivery date is friday. was originially told Thursday, then Wednesday, then back to Thursday. Now Friday. It's 6 hours away from me... How can it take so long. I was being patient, but my patience ends with a Thursday delivery! Now i'm hearing Friday!:eek:
 
I just received my order confirmation for my 15" low-end non-customized mbp...
expected delivery date May 12, 2010 - May 17, 2010...
they must be jokin' :(:eek:
 
mine was delivered by a company called TNT.Is there anyone know about this company?

my mpb was ordered 17th and the staute changed to shipped today...so slow..cant wait anymore

I just received my 15" i7 2.66 500GB 7200 Hi Rez matte display English/Thai keyboard. Ordered a little after 12pm on the 13th.

upgrading from 2006 15" MBP.

I'm in south Thailand on Phuket island.

Beautiful tool much different feeling to the 2006 MBP. I'm very happy with the whole process including the BTO options for the current line. Good stuff. Funny I an heading out for a 5 day SCUBA trip on Friday and I'm already having withdrawals.

I will wait to get to the states in a few weeks to upgrade the RAM and HD. This was a good buy here but most electronics in America can be had cheaper. Also as to be expected I've been burned and learned about knockoff products here. I now pretty much assume something is a fake unless proven otherwise. That's just the way it is here in some parts of Asia.
 
Mine was delivered yesterday! I was away on business and didn't get home until late. I'm migrating my old MBP to the new one now!

Interesting to note after reading the posts in this thread from yesterday, I never had some of the scans that others had. For example, I never got one of those "international releases."

uggggg...I just got off the phone with UPS too...the lady told me my package is suppose to clear customs in Calgary April 22nd. She then proceed to tell me, but the package is not to be delivered until Apr 27th!!!!!!

I asked her why does it take 3 business for it to be deliver...she said she doesn't know and she said I might be lucky to get it on the 26th...WTF UPS....you suck royal ass!

I just hope at least it does clear customs tomorrow...then I have a chance to have it by Friday instead of sitting in Louisville!!!!!!!!!

BTW...I ask them also as to why the hell my package went from Anchorage to Louisville where it is way far east...I am in Calgary, and is way closer to Anchorage than Louisville. She told me cuz that is where the Major customs is.
WOW UPS, you are stupid! It makes sense to have all abroad package to land in Anchorage. Wouldn't it make more sense for your company's bottom line and to your customers to then have Anchorage sort the packages to major UPS ports according to where the packages are going instead of going to one site ONLY? Not only it make that one site have to deal with ALL the packages and slow everything down. There are SOOOOOO many stinking UPS ports doing nothing. The only thing I can say that is a plus on UPS is comparing to Purolator. Purolator have the worst customer service. Purolator yells at you when you call or when they call to have you pick up your package when you are not home!!!!!!!!!! It is almost as if you are causing them inconvenience. Dell uses them for Canada exclusively.
