Mine was in newark for a whole few hours...it's off to Manhattan now (hopefully).
 
The Wait is almost over! Out for Delivery!!!!!

Here are the details about mine. I ordered with standard shipping, and seem to be one of very few that shipped in the US with UPS rather than FedEx. Seems like most FedEx packages arrived earlier this week. Alas, I can't wait to get my hands on it!!!!!

Looks like it just left Mount Hope (Hamilton) - about 40 mins drive from my location. Fingers crossed that today might be the day for some MBP buyers in the Ontario area.

Try this: call FedEx, ask for International tracking. I did this once before and I got great results. The person was super courteous, put out a expedite request and I had it the next day.

seriously....wat the hell is Destination Scan...the explaination on UPS site doesnt help..😡

UPDATE: i just gave UPS a ring and they said my package on the truck and SHOULD be delivered by 7PM

Can someone help me find out what flight I am on?

I called fedex and they said it left china at 8:53 PM Shanghai time. I cannot find any flight from FDX matching this. Help.

Well, that is not too bad. Mine is shipped. To my school and not my house! RAGE😡 So, I have to get a hold of Fedex when it gets into the states and have them ship it to my home address. Gosh, what a silly mistake I made. Luckily I caught it in time.
 
I also ordered on April 13th and I think my MBP has travelled along with yours for a good part of the trip! 🙂

Yeah mine is out for delivery too

a day early. Well, that works for me since that's a day less I'll have to wait for a refund when returning this. Man, the Apple representative was a real nasty one this morning. I had to get tough to get return fed ex labels from her. 😡

That means that its arrived at the airport closest to you where FedEx will process it and load it on a truck for delivery to you.

I rang apple c/s and she didn't really tell me much just that they are catching up on backlogs and payment wouldn't go through until despatched which I already know. ****s me off more cos it's shifting from not yet shipped to prepared for shipment literally every night but still no despatch.

Mine is also a 17" - i5 antiglare with 7200rpm

Really ticking me off there's no chance I bet that it will arrive on the delivery date they estimated which was 28/29 April

I'm stuck in basically the same situation. Ordered the 15" 2.4Ghz i5 with HR screen last Thursday, and it's been standing as "Not yet shipped" ever since. I also got basically the same message when calling Apple Store Support: "We have some delays, and we're doing whatever we can - don't worry, it will be there in time."

I really doubt that it will make it to Copenhagen by the 28th/29th if it's not even dispatched/shipped yet. It's like the Arrandales are jinxed: First there was Intel's shortage of chips, resulting in the horribly miserable wait for the actual update, then the volcano eruption causing further delays all over the world, and now they can't seem to be able to keep up with the orders.
 
I am at a loss

I checked the flightwaware sight and listed all flights for today and cannot find anything from shanghai that corresponds with my flight.

Fedex says it is on a plane now yet it does not show up on that web site?

What gives?

It says that this flight is scheduled for 8:55 PM china time.

It is already 11:50 pm there.

How come it does not show as in flight?

It still shows as scheduled?

Here's a rundown that may help but I'm sure it'll make some sad.
I ordered a 15" MBP 2.53 core duo w/matte on 04/09/ paid Wire transfer then received conformation from my bank on 04/10, then stared at the not yet shipped til 04/13 when I received a "because your order has not shipped we've decided to upgrade your order to a 15" MBP 2.4 High Res Antiglare.
Great I thought, then I stared at the not yet shipped until 04/21 when I received the following.

So now there are two flights from PVG today, one to ANC and the other to MEM I'm hoping for the Mem but I think it will be the ANC flight because it left at 8:55 PM but nothing has seemed to go right until now and I'm not betting on this either.

I used this to figure out what was going on it seemed much easier,
http://www.flightstats.com
Just do the free signup and then insert the info you have and begin searching for matching flights.
