I spoke to both Bluewater and Regent St. (UK) this morning and was told they won't have the 17's until at least Monday (possibly later). My online order status is still at 'Not Yet Shipped'. Grrrr.....

i just dont get that
i mean i can hop on a plane today and have a round the world trip twice (jeremy clarkson did it in 5 days)
or i could go spend a week in Australia. and still be back before the post man arrives
yet some chinese dudes at the forefront of technology cant get a laptop delivered to the UK in anything like reasonable time.
they should know in todays world we are all impatient fast living buggers
My estimated ship date isn't until Monday. It's killing me! Then it takes what feels like forever to catch a shipment to the UK. I completely appreciate the economies of transporting the machines in volume, but argh, I'm tearing my hair out!
yeah and not only that it appears apple has closed apecode.com down so now i can't even track it from the factory door. Don't know why UK customers can't and US can...
Yeah but its not even that though the shipment comes to europe not the UK so anything that sets off from China to Europe is to supply the whole of europe. I am sure they have enough orders from Eur to fill a cargo plane by now.
Mine (15", 2.4GHz, Glossy) is notified this morning (6/8) finally. It is schedlued to deliver Tue, but I hope it would be Mon.

Whoa...you guys need to check out www.flightaware.com . Then go to live flight tracking, you can choose FedEx as the company. Looks like there was a flight out of AK to Memphis just after my box was scanned! I've still got a shot at today! ...I just wish they FedEx would update their tracking...I need to know where it arrived after AK...,
I wanna say they fly out to Indianapolis after Alaska... but I could be wrong.
They do...at least all reports that I've seen on the net shows that usually new Macs go from AK to Indy...however, my package was scanned at 2:29, there was a flight to Indy at 2:28...so it didn't get loaded on that one...the next flight to Indy was more than 2 or 3 hours later. I dont rhink it sat on an inactive plane for that long... There was a flight to Memphis about 30-45 mins after the scan...I've got my fingrers crossed!

My MBP 2.4 glossy has shipped and is starting its long journey to UK!!
Tracking it with the widget. When I ordered my Mac Pro last Sept the widget showed my box as out for delivery just as the TNT man drove into my street but the apple web page reported that it was still at customs
I ordered the exact configuration. I got my shipping notice late last night. Still have no information about when it will be delivered though.

Oh man, mine got to Anchorage, AK at 4:35pm PST yesterday. There is a SLIGHT chance it would make it to Ottawa in time to be out for delivery, but more likely it'll get to a sorting plant near Toronto, then be delivered Monday as estimated. Ahhhhhhh well! For once I'll look forward to Monday
