Now I'm worried that it's something to do with the 17" machines or the hi-res screens. Perfect!
I purchased a 17" MBP with the Hi-Res and mine was shipped last night (local time) and 1230pm today (shanghai time). I am pretty sure that you are safe. Just stay calm for the next few hours.

My 15" Macbook Pro just arrived here at my office. I ordered it on the day of the release. Although FedEx still says it's in Anchorage, it's definitely here!
I ordered my 15" 2.4/256MB vid/matte on Tuesday also. My order says "Ships by: Jun 6 - Jun 8, Delivers by: Jun 7 - Jun 11" and the person I talked to with Apple on Tuesday added overnight shipping. My CC has been charge, but it still hasn't shipped. This is very frustrating.
My 17" MBP with High-Res Glossy and 7200 RPM shipped early this morning! Estimated delivery is June 13, but hopefully it can make it here sooner. It will likely be a very long weekend.
I ordered mine seconds after the site came up, and shelled out 18 bucks for 2 day shipping. Here it is, Friday, 3 days AFTER the order SHIPPED, and still no MBP. FedEx Tracking says that it arrived in Indianapolis at 12:40am. What's gay is that FedEx could have sent it out on a flight to Memphis from Alaska, that would have arrived in plenty of time for it to be delivered to my local distributor, and I would have had it by now. Oh well... I will just wait until Monday, I guess I have to...

yes. on the web it still says it is in China. However, I called Fed Ex tracking support center, and they told me it is out of China and on it's way, just hasn't been updated online. Also told me I should expect to see it on Monday.

UPDATE: Also, here is the number I called. If you are in the US, call this number. They give you more info then what is online. 1-800-455-4588
Well, my MBP arrived at Memphis at 9:14am. I'm about 3 hours from Memphis, and I'm sure that they don't run two trucks up to where I am in one day. Looks like it will be Monday!

I just did a quick search on FedEx's website...looks like they do Saturday Delivery, but only in select service areas. I'm not in one of those areas... I'm an "H4"...Monday it is...
