"Shipped to ISLEWORTH, GB 08 Jun 2007
Estimated Delivery Date 16 Jun 2007 (Subject to change)
Current Delivery Status In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule 08 Jun 2007"

16th??? how are they sending it? bloody nora! Ah well, probably get a DOA as well. :D Glass always half empty I say!

Mine shipped a couple of hours ago from Shanghai, on it's long (and hopefully not too bumpy) route to Belgium.
I placed my order wednesday, opted for the 15,4 with an upgrade to the cheap 160GB-drive, and it should arrive with me as soon as next thursday. Not bad at all if you ask me

Our new 17" MBP shipped yesterday ordered with 2 day shipping... will arrive Monday by 10:30 :( On occasion we've recieved packages earlier than the qoute on the website... but i have a feeling it's not coming on satuday.

So what was scheduled to be delivered monday by 10:30 is now in my possetion. Thank God the Fedex estimated arrival date is always (most of the time) off. With the new bootcamp and parallel versions release i can't wait to play with it.

15" 2.4GHz Arrived

Typed this note on it! Happy, happy!

Especially since Fedex showed an estimated delivery date of Monday, but actually delivered it this morning!

Love it.

Mine left Memphis this morning at 5:25am as well. I'm in Vancouver. I guess Monday it'll be here.

Off-topic I know, but check out the latest VMWare/Fusion beta as well. They released Beta 4 last night and it now has Unity (their answer to Coherence). So far I prefer it - even though I'm a paid user of Parallels 3.0.

If that's the 17" Hi-res by the way, any chance of some screen photos?

Update: Hurrah - my estimated delivery just went blank - hopefully that's a positive sign as eenu said. :) (Yes, I'm sad... I know!) :D :D

might be old news but i just rang the regents street store, london and they have the new 15" macbook pros in stock - low & high end. ill be getting a low end one shortly

i currently have a black macbook but i really miss the backlit keyboard when im typing late into the night and this upgrade of the pro range with leds seems worth the change....

Whoa...they do?! I live way out in the boonies...do they deliver on Saturday's everywhere? Omg that'd be awesome!

I just did a quick search on FedEx's website...looks like they do Saturday Delivery, but only in select service areas. I'm not in one of those areas... I'm an "H4"...Monday it is...

Well I see the truck on Saturdays and I have 2 shipments arriving on the 9th which is tomorrow.

I'm in Vancouver as well and mine left at the exact same time as yours.. looks like we're in the same boat... and will be celebrating together.. ;)

On a side note.. is anyone's shipment with UPS? I ordered a printer and its being shipped by UPS and the status has been stuck on Billing Information Received for about 2 days now. :(

I cant wait to get this MBP, it says it is at my local dest. sort facility at 7:10 this morning, I live probably around 20 minutes from the sort facility. Since I'm growing impatient (its 2pm now) I called to see when is the latest it could come, and they say that the online tracking is all computer generated (not a real scan of where it is). And I will not receive it until Monday.... I guess that leaves me with the question, if it is computer generated about the package and where it is supposed to be at a given time, why not give the entire shipment details about where it is supposed to be at all times. If the tracker says it is in local area (Toronto Canada)... the package shouldnt still be in the states. I had higher expectations from Fedex . Who knows, maybe the lady I talked to from Fedex didnt know what she was talking about.

What happends if Apple doesn't ship it on time but I paid for faster shipping? Ships by: Jun 6 - Jun 8
Delivers by: Jun 8 - Jun 13

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but you paying for faster shipping has nothing to do with when apple ships it. Your paying for fedex to move it faster not apple.

I'm 95% sure this is correct. It's what I would have thought anyways. Usually FedEx is the slow one... not necessarily Apple. Either that or they are equal in time.

So my order just went from Shipping Exception in Shanghai to In Transit.... 26 HOURS LATER!!! Hmmmm... I'm not too happy if this means my MBP sat in China for a whole day and then some... :( I want my new baby. This iBook G4 can feel its age. I want speeeeeeeeeed. I want graphics. I want a screen where more than 2/3 of it lights up lol (I think my logic board somehow died partially)

Just got the shipped mail.

Now here's hoping I don't have to drive to Larkhall to pick it up...

Eek. Last time I was there I was getting funny looks from the banjo playing locals. Strange car in town.

My delivery is due by 13th June :apple: :)

Still no shipment, although my arrival day has been empty for this whole day. Possibly shipment tomorrow? Those Chinese do work on Saturdays?

Hate to break it to you but all machines on higher education purchase in the UK come with 3 yrs Warranty as standard you didn't need to pay for it!
