Yeah, but they already replaced it in Order Status, I already talked to someone who told me I would get a new one.

Possibly tomorrow then?
 
My MBP is still waiting to be shipped/charged (supposed to ship Jun 6-8, arrive 8-13), the ipod's just now leaving China, but the good news is that my DVI to video adapter will be arrive today.

(I'm going out of state next week, so it's going to be close. On the bright side, maybe when I return, there will be updated boot camp drivers?)

it says shippin on the 8th, so that would imply its all built and ready

but then 12 days to come from china? wth that cant be right,

i sincerely hope the time isnt spent in UK customs, because that'll just be one more reason why i hate labour.
 
Yes, mine shipped today from amazon.com and will arrive tomorrow. :)
 
My card was charged today but the order status still indicates that the computer hasn't shipped yet.

Do they only charge when the computer is going to ship that day?

I would do the same...but I don't think I will have a chance to drive to Nashville (2 hour drive) to get it. And even if I did, I wouldn't be elgible for the mail-in-rebate for my Nano unless I returned it to the store and then re-bought the Nano and the MBP there. It would be kinda pointless...I would be paying MORE money there due to the higher sales tax...

I've waited 2 years to make the jump to the Mac, so I think I can wait a few more days...haha

it's because of the 7200 RPM HD... i did the same thing, but i called in and changed it back to 5400 RPM...it's gonna ship this week.
 
Well looks like I had it all wrong - I thought it meant 1-3 days and it would get to my house! Dang- Well mine wont be coming soon, I bought mine from the university to receive the Student Discount and get this they don't pay tax so I got my 15" 2.4ghz 160GB Glossy model for 2299.00 -out the door- no tax added!

I too took advantage of the ipod special, and got a 30GB Black ipod for a total of $49 (again no tax added, and of course I have to send in for the $199 rebate).

This being my very first Mac and ipod i feel like I got a great deal and the 3 months of waiting has paid off!
 
I just checked my online Credit Card statement and both my iPod Nano (on the delivery truck now) and my 2.4ghz MacBook Pro have been charged to the credit card. Hopefully it will ship soon!!
 
if you buy a mbp thru ADC can u still get the free nano?

or

can you buy a mbp and ipod off amazon and get the free nano or it only exclusively though apple.com?

It's official, my MBP is on its way!!

The tracking says that FedEx received package data at 1:25PM!

It shouldn't take that long.....i hope its just an estimate that will rapidly drop. My iMac and my mini certainly came quicker.

The one thing that does bother me is i still have the option to cancel online and my card has not been charged. Not good for someone that bought as soon as the store came back up!

It's looking like US customers are getting first dibs..... :mad:

I agree. It's totally unfair. I hope that yours ships today as well, otherwise it would look pretty bad on Apple's part...

I also think it's funny that Apple's site says that it shipped on June 7th...I guess that is because it is the 7th in China...

Haha, could be! I guess we will have to wait until the pallet of MBPs goes through customs before we start seeing any real progress. FedEx claims the delivery date to be Monday, but I wouldn't be too surprised if it arrived on Friday. In my experience, I usually get the package a day before the estimated delivery date if it's shipped by FedEx.
 
Mine also says shipping 8th June and delivery 14-15th, order placed yesterday lunchtime.

I can hardly stand the waiting! :)

Edit: That's a UK order, 17"/Hi Res/160gb 7200rpm.
