Ordered mine Monday afternoon. It was listed as "In Transit" from Memphis as of early yesterday. I live in Louisiana, it wouldn't surprise me if it made it to Jackson, MS and then on to Alexandria where I live in a day. I could very well get it tomorrow! Here's to hoping all of you get yours very, very soon.

I really wish we all get it today (Monday). :) Can you post an opportunely obscured screenshot of Fedex's tracker?

Lucky you!

Congrats.

Mine is still list as being in bloody Northampton.

I'm going to call TNT when I get to work and ask if there any way I can pay them over what Apple has to increase the priority of my package so it actually get delivered as opposed to sitting in their warehouse.

MBP plans

I'm very excited about this and I surely hope to get it today (Monday). :D
If I get it, I'll let you know the second that I receive it by posting here.

What are your plans for when you get it? Are you going to format and reinstall from scratch or you'll keep the default installation? I've heard good things about Quicksilver, OnyX and NeoOffice and I plan to install them right away (as soon as I learn how to install stuff on Macs). :) What about you?

I will probably keep default install for now. I am a meteorologist and grad student at U of OK. I will actually be attempting to install a weather model on the MBP for my thesis research. The big goal is to utilize the school's Mac lab with an XServe and XGrid to basically run the model on a Mac cluster. I'm trying to show the scientific community the power of Macs.

I look forward to seeing when you will get yours (as mine will soon follow).

Out for delivery :)

TNT comes here often in the start of their round, meaning between 09:00 and 09:30, so let's hope it's here within the hour

Awesome. I'll be using mine for web development and personal projects. You should receive your laptop either same day as mine or worst case scenario a day after. So I'll give you a heads up when mine arrives. :) I can't go to sleep, I'm so excited about it.

Oh great it's now out for delivery and I'm stuck in work.

Apparently I can only pick it up between 20:00 and 20:30 tonight.

So it getting there.

Will any of you ever in your life take the plane to Pudong? There might be a chance that your plane is broken and you will be stuck for days in there. :D

Wonderful! When did you order it? Is it in perfect shape? :)

ordered on the 6th, paid on the 8th, shipped on the 9th, arived today.

First thing i checked was if i had the yellow-stripe in the bottom, and yes i have one, but i don't see it until i'm 20cm from my screen's bottom, so i don't realy care, i have a mate 2.2 stock.

Going to check for dead pixels now

Just having a moan here, but I can't believe the amateurs at TNT have managed to screw it up again. After speaking to no less than 3 separate people last week and instructing them to hold it at the depot for collection, what do they do? They send it out for delivery!

So now rather than just driving to pick it up after work, I have to wait until after 7pm for it to return to the depot and be available for collection. That is, assuming a van doesn't break down and they leave it sitting at the roadside for another 4 days!

I'm under the impression that these screw ups are more common in the UK where customer service tends to be poorer than in countries like US/Canada. Sorry to hear that, but I'm sure you'll have your laptop at 7pm.

EDIT: I should mention that I lived in the UK for 6 years.

Typical. Hope you don't have any issues with it when you do finally get it.

TNT just called to confirm when I'd be in and she realised just as she strated talking that I'd arranged to pick up from the depot...

At least I clarified when they wre open till and it 21:30.

I expect that I'll be there at 19:59.

Well, it's good news that Pudong 50 are progressively reaching freedom.

On my new MBP now!!!
But I have 1 question, should the mousebutton be higer up then the rest of the computer, i hope you understand me.. will try to take a photo later if someone want me too..

Thanks. Let's hope the last of us 50 have it sorted by end of week. I'll definitely be following up the complaint with Apple as well - they need to do something about TNT!

Mmm a 1500 nicker laptop shipped at a lower priority than some lettice.

It wasn't like this the last time I ordered from the store and in future I'll go to the Apple store in Glasgow to prevent it from happening again.

The button is very slightly raised on mine as well... seems to work perfectly though.
