I don't see any stuck pixels or yellowing right now but I have only had it 30 min. I do not have a 6 to 6 firewire so I am transferring my files over ethernet. 9 hours for my itunes lib.

Got mine today, after over 9 weeks. No iLife 08, and no 7k2 rpm drive as I ordered. It's been an bittersweet experience... Well, at least it's here...
It's been an bittersweet experience... Well, at least it's here...I called Fedex and said that I saw through the tracking # where they had tried to deliver it but I wasn't at home. They said to bring in the doortag and my I.D. and that I could pick it up after 3. So I went home at lunch to get the tag and there wasn't one. Are they sticklers on that? I printed out the tracking # page showing that they had tried to deliver it.
Edit: called them back and they said all I needed was the tracking # and photo i.d. Macbook Pro tonight!

I got mine! And it came with an iLife 08 install dvd. The screen looks good. No yellowing that I can see. I'm just at the setup assistant part, so I'll report back on the screen later. It's wanting my wireless network, but I'm still at work. So I guess I'll be finishing that up at home. It is gorgeous!
8th-10th. It went from "not shipped yet" to "prepared for shipping" on the 7th. From order to finish July 26th - Aug 10th. It flew, it was scheduled to arrive on mon 13th.
I GOT IT, THREE DAYS EARLY!!!! Seriously it shipped on Wednesday and it came this morning. My mom woke me up round 9:50, told me something came for me. And there it was. 120GB, 2 GB, 15-inches of MacBook Pro goodness! I been playing with it since and I love it, I f'n LOVE IT!

They authorized my credit card a few days ago and today Aug 11 it just went into "Prepared for Shipment". So its been 10 business days so far (M-F, M-F)
The estimated ship date was Aug 8-13.

Fed Ex told me last night that my package was going to be on a plane in a few hours from China... but the Fedex tracking hasn't had any updates for about 24 hours. Do they not update the site during the weekend?
I'm guessing, worse case scenario... it's going to sit in China until Monday and fly out in the morning... bummer

I was told that Fedex international doesn't run on Saturday. Looks like it will wait until Monday until it starts moving. Sorry.
I ordered my 17" MBP on Friday and it is due to ship early next week. I hope that is moves as fast as some peoples have.
Good News... mac is in Alaska... we've entered the nation. But I'm guessing it's not getting out of there today.

i ordered mine on the 8th, and i was really glad to see that there was a thread for shipping here because i have heard mixed reactions to apple's shipping of the MBP's, hopefully mine will come on time if not earlier, ordered the 2.4 GHz with the glossy screen, it's only one customization, do the more you have make it slower to ship? my order statues of my MBP says ships from the 17th to the 22nd and delivers between the 21st-27th
Mine changed to prepared for shipment as well. I am hoping that it will ship on Monday.
