Has your SR MBP shipped yet?

ugh still waiting, its been over a week and it still hasn't shipped... i need this ****ing laptop like now for school because my piece of **** ibook died.

Well my Uber cool MBP is HERE HURRAH !!!!!

ordered it on 27 August

2.4GHS, 4 Gig ram, 7200 drive - glossy

and its a perfect screen - wonderfully bright and clear - I love it
 
Just got mine!!! FedEx was faster than I thought...

Yesterday it was in AK and this morning it arrives in Indianapolis!!

Perfect screen, with lots of things to update in Software Update, though ;-)

So happy with it!!

Um, I ordered on Aug 30th, customized 15" 2.2 with 160G 7200 hard drive.

And, one more thing, how can I find out which screen am I using?

Well I guess my prediction was wrong, my MBP shipped today, and is scheduled to be at my doorstep on Monday:D.

hey, i ordered the same spec on the same day (not got mine yet should be here today) is yours glossy?

i hope mines the same batch as yours, you can tell which screen you have under system profile, there are codes for lg or samsung, i forget exactly what they are now.

Mine shipped out or information about shipping has been recieved by fedex but no schedule day for delivery, maybe tonight more info will come up, im curious as heck, I hope mine came from that good batch! do you know how often fedex updates its tracking information?
 
Still waiting.. I really wish Apple would hurry up. I need this thing for school since my iBook died.
 
Refurbished macbook pros seem to be taking a little longer than normal to ship. I ordered a glossy screen 15" two days ago and it still has not shipped. I've ordered refurb in the past and it has always shipped same day and usually arrived within 48 hours.

UPDATE: Being prepped for shipping, so it took 3 days from order date to ship. Nothing to really complain about, but every day of waiting seems like an eternity.

judging from past experiences, it seems that Fed Ex updates their tracking very erratically. I've had one experience where I didnt really see anything till I got my item. It doesnt list an estimated ship date for mine either, so I just went off of what Apple told me in the shipping notification email, which is the 24th.

I never really got a notification from apple---- i just got an invoice thing with everything I purchase as an official receipt-- with this info for the notebook-- Im really confused, wait I checked my bank account and the money was pulled out yesterday.... hmmm FEDEX NEEDS TO UPDATE MORE OFTEN! or should I call in...
Im so anxious, I hope I get a good screen, thats my main concern as is with everyone else... :(

ordered sept 9th, ship sept 19-24.

:D :D :D finally.. i need this thing badly for my school work since my ibook died.

Mine was order Sept 6, and is already "shipped" with arrival for monday. I never even got a prepared for shipment notice, it just went from "Not Yet Shipped" to "Shipped".
 
I am waiting on my replacement MBP and i got a message 3 days after the replacement was issued (instead of 7-10 business days) that said it was shipped and gave a tracking #. But the tracking number shows no expected delivery date and has been sitting on the "data transmitted to fedex" line for 2 days with no updates. my first MBP shipment (the yellow screen one) went from "data transmitted" to "picked up" status in a couple hours. Is apple just screwing with me and SAYING its shipped when it's not?

Mines is the sameway. For some reason, Fed Ex doesnt update its site quickly. Sometimes you wont see anything until you actually get your item. I would call Apple like Cookiemonster did, and find out the date from them.
 
Typhoon Wipha--- is the reason behind the delays, it seems so horrible that Im not following world events :S ... I hope the people that were hit by it are able to get things back together.

I'm in the same boat with you all. I ordered 9/7 and the screens went straight to shipped on 9/19 with no preparation in the middle. The initial shipping notice from Apple said the estimated delivery was 9/24 and the Fed Ex tracker sat on "package data transmitted" notice received for the last 3 days. Today, the Fed Ex tracker finally gave an estimated arrival of before 10:30 on 9/26, but still only shows that the package data was transmitted to Fed Ex on 9/19. Maybe ours will be on the same plane from Shanghai!

Fed Ex finally listed a shipping date, and Im in the same boat you are, wont get it till Wednesday. What a way to kill my buzz:mad:.
