Does anyone know why an iPhone that is financed through Apple upgrade program is ineligible to cancel?
Same here!! Southern, CA [Orange County]Just canceled my order. Looked at instore availability and the apple store by me has stock. Picking the phone up later today.
Well that was easy. I cancelled my launch day order and was able to reserve one in store. Quick question I chose to pick up later this afternoon around 5PM, if I showed up at 1PM would it be possible they would have it ready?

I am also making a 40 minute drive. Not too bad really. Going to listen to a new album on the wayCanceled my preorder to pick up in store, Took about five minutes for the web site to recognize I canceled. Fortunately, this Apple store, while not the closest to me, is only about 35 minutes away. Pickup this afternoon. Hope my cancellation helps someone!

I paid in full so there was nothing that needed to be released. I will change to IUP in store since I am TMO customer.The system let you order a second one before cancelling the first order? Apple or att forced me to cancel before I could finish my reservation for one for store pick up. I nervously did it since the guy at my Apple Store told me yesterday that they had "abundant stock but could only sell through reservations" but boy would I have been jaded if by the time my order cancellation fell off my in store supply was spoken for.
I see a few of you cancelling with AT&T, but did anyone cancel with Verizon? I am trying to speak with them to see what the process is but can't get through. I am just afraid to cancel and be stuck.

I cancelled and I have verizon. Took 5-10 minutes before it would let me place a new order for that phone number. Probably closer to 5 but it felt like forever.
Same. Farewell preorder drama. At 6AM the stock truly did refresh and I was able to set up for in-store pickup at a local Apple store for my 64GB Silver. <3canceled my preorder and chose pick up today at 4:30pm. so excited!!
Yeah, that was a very stressful 5 minutes for me!

So totally debating that. Both my husband AND my phones are in stock around the corner. I mean, mine comes Monday (assuming it ever leaves Korea), so it’s not the end of the world. But man, SO CLOSE and yet so far.I wasn't able to cancel my order, since it has already shipped, however I did go to Target yesterday and pickup an iPhone X. Took about 15 minutes. I had no issues doing this through Verizon. I'm refusing shipment of my pre ordered iPhone X. And in doing so I will be canceling the IUP program. It is garbage.

That's a good question. They give you a half hour pickup window and I would think items not picked up by end of day would go back into the available stock pool. BUT I was fully charged for my reservation already so technically I've purchased the phone and all other stores (Target, Best Buy, etc) hold in store pick ups for at least 3-5 days. If I were you, I would make the reservation and then call the store to see how long they'll hold it for you.
