Hi, I placed my order for the 256GB Space Grey iPhone X, I received the mail with no problem, but I am starting to fear something is wrong. My issue is the following, if I press the link with the order number on the confirmation email it shows me the info with no problem and a Delivery date of 17 - 24 nov, but it's strange that if I login on apple.com to my account and go to the orders page, it tells me there's an error and I can't see the info (Pic attached)

Is there anyone experiencing this? Should I be worried?

It's definitely on dot-com orders not in the app.

I was on Apples .com store, so hopefully they bump me up. Honestly, I do not think any of us will get bumped to launch, except for these few lucky fellows. I do think we will bump up to say the 11/10 or so. Also, I do not think we will see our orders change (if they do) until possibly Friday, when the first batch is out and delivered. They will have a better idea of what remaining stock looks like on Friday.

I could be completely wrong, I am purely speculating (speculation is usually bad) but we shall see soon.

Some people who used the Apple store app and paid with Apple Pay on their phone got the receipt at their personal email address associated with Apple Pay and not associated with their Apple ID, so the order and Apple ID aren’t linked. Is there a link at the bottom of the working order page giving you the option to link the order to your Apple ID?

anyone with a delivery scheduled for 11/17-11/24 have their cards charged for full amount as yet?

or even a pre-authorization charge of 1$ ? i have no pending charge as yet. what exactly does apple do at the order processing stage? just collate details without processing a thing?

Only charge I've got was a pre-auth for $1
 
They're not supposed to charge you until it's about the ship. My guess is that if the charge got declined they would cancel the order.

thats just it, i dont have a 1 Dollar charge against the card either, and my order (placed via apple.com for Tmo 256 GB) is showing as "Order in Progress" and i spoke via chat to a rep and he said "there are no issues at my end as of right now and the order is scheduled for delivery between 17th and 24th Nov.

Eh, it could be worse. I was having issues with the Apple App Store verifying info with Verizon and by the time I finally go my order through I got a delivery date of 12/5 - 12/11. It’s the latest date I’ve seen of anybody here on MR. This is the first year I won’t have it on launch day =/

Anyone with a long lag time between order and confirmation email? I finished checkout at about 2:10 CT and I have an email confirmation received at 3:52 CT. I am confident about the order time as I ordered cases immediately after the phone and those were immediately confirmed at 2:13 CT. Similar timeline for my wife’s phone which was ordered immediately after the cases. Apple store app would not load on either phone until about 10/11 past the hour. We both have 11/17-24 deliveries for VZW 256GB one of each color through IUP.

Same timeline and orders here. my confirmation email came 1:45 after my order went through. No movement here.

Apple charges your card just prior to shipping from China. Likely about 3-4 days prior to delivery.

shouldnt they at least verify the card at order placement stage with a preauthorization? i dont even have 1 USD charged or any other pending charge. Thought they'd at least verify card even if they're processing the order later.
 
Depends on the credit card company. I never see a $1 charge on my account.

Yep thats correct, I never see a $1 dollar charge on mine, but some of my friends that use different credit card companies have that charge. Never understood it, but its the same thing every year.
