It should go by time the time of the order. Not what way you paid for the device. SMH, real nice apple
Especially as they only offer IUP in two countries....
Level playing field - that's what I'd like to see - all orders come out of the same bucket - order time determines your spot in the queue.

Seems I remember last year and we were charged about 4 days before delivery.
Mine hasn't been bumped but I try UPS's tracking once a day just to see if my reference number shows up.
Heh...if that plane doesn't leave until Thursday, I think a lot of them are gonna lose it.
Some of them are watching all of the planes flying in and out of China and South Korea and looking for tracking updates. No movement for me. Still in the 17-24 delivery range. Doesn’t look good for me getting it Friday the 3rd.
Me either. I don't think we will see any more upgrades to the 3rd. My guess we won't see any more upgrades at all. Instead phones will just start shipping as soon as they are ready.
Everyone just needs to be patient (says the girl that checks her order several times a day). The phones will come when they are available. It sucks, but we just have to wait.

Likely only a temporary charge that will drop off. Each credit card company does this differently.
Exactly. Very strange. Well - I’m not going to get my hopes up just yet. The logistics of handling millions of orders is going to mean some hiccups here and there.
I wouldn't call that likely. If he didn't see this charge before today, and is now seeing a charge for the full amount, it means it is shipping soon.

There's this one carrier (the biggest one) called "Swisscom". And they were usually very bad at delivering phones at launch or even in the next week. Some of the people who preordered early had to wait for 1-2 months.
But this year a friend of mine ordered half an hour after the pre-sale started and just got the confirmation that he will receive his iPhone X on November 3.
And apparently many other too according to their forum. Seems that Apple can deliver better than expected.

Blah!! Not sure if we see more movement.. It's killing me. Ordered at 3:06, and actually my first attempt was around 3:02 via the app. It was going smooth, Citizens crapped out on me! Why on earth would they just not let me choose a different method of payment and that point...no instead....that's it... the whole transaction gets cancelled and you have to start over. That's BS!

If you haven't seen movement yet, you're not getting it on the 3rd.
But, there are 14 days between the 3rd and 17th that Apple is surely going to be shipping and delivering. Keep calm until the 3rd passes, I have a feeling we'll be moving really quickly after that.

Just curious.... do repeat IUP orders ship with return packaging? That would complicate logistics.
On the card charge, I’ve had the charge show up day it’s delivered before. While it can be a positive clue, it doesn’t necessarily mean no delivery yet.

iPhone X, 64GB, Silver, AT&T. Also in 11/17 - 11/24 group. Order placed at 3:14, Apple Store didn't load for me until 3:10 & raised a few errors upon processing. Bought outright (fewer steps) in hopes of securing a launch day ship date. That didn't work out so well. Not expecting a date bump, but sure am hoping.
