Have any 11/17-11/24 shipments been bumped?

I doubt we’ll see the date change at this point assuming nobody else is bumped to the 3rd. If anything, you’ll just see your status change to preparing to ship.

That’s how it happened with my Apple Watch last year. I had a 3-4 week delivery, and about 1 1/2 weeks in, my status changed on my order with the estimated delivery date never changing.
 
Has anyone who ordered an ATT phone through apple had movement?

I am one of those who ended up with a reservation at 3:13 when apple couldn't connect to ATT.

I don’t see that error when I log in my account at Applestore.com to check my orders. I see Order In Progress along with info such as order#, order date, delivery date, pic of the X and the price I paid.

Nope not yet. Im still in the 17-24 crowd. I reserved at 3:14 and apple couldn't connect to ATT, got my reservation order the next day and completed it after a nightmare with ATT site itself, but thats another story.

Yes that's what I meant too. No more date changes. They will just ship when they're ready. Which I'm willing to bet will be way in advance of Nov. 17th.

My Amex account shows pre-authorization/pending charge $1 from Apple Online Store on Oct. 27.

At the end of the day it’s not so bad. With all the reports of shortages being so bad that we would see 2018 delivery dates soon after pre-orders open, getting our devices prior to Thanksgiving is much better than expected.

On top of that, it may not be a bad idea to look at buying from a carrier next time around. It looks like many people have launch day delivery for orders placed long after Apple was already listing 5-6 week delivery rates.

Does it seem that it's mainly the T-Mobile ones that are getting bumped?
I used the Apple App and had the AT&T delay. No changes yet.

Funny how those who buy outright get penalized for not financing a phone through IUP. Same boat as you except mine is a space grey.

I had 12 vm's going and also my Ipad and Iphone using the Apple App and all of them failed. First time i wont have the IPX on launch. Might try to get there early early on Friday AM.

When i called Apple yesterday all they said was "sorry" and "bye felicia" :)

I'm not really sure why you are calling Apple? When you 'hit' the pay button, you knew it wasn't going to be delivered until at the earliest 11/17, what are you expecting them to do? I have one coming Friday 11/3 and one 11/17 - 11/24, I'm not stomping around mad at a company for not doing anything yet as we are 2 weeks away from 11/17.

I did not get into the apple site until about 3:10. Had a November 3rd delivery date through the whole process then when the order was processed it popped up Nov 17th-24th.....not happy about it all, but it could be worse as some won't even get one this month at all plus I got feeling we will probably get bumped up after the 3rd and won't have to wait that long

I think I’ve finally moved to the phase of “ok it’s just a phone.”

I’ve seen a couple iPhone X here in San Francisco Bay Area already. No matter what I’m already late to the game lol.

My date when placing the order said delivers Nov 3. That coupled with the issues on the App and overall experience when ordering or trouble ordering is what prompted me to call Apple. I am not stomping around but was expressing my dissatisfaction as a consumer. This shouldnt be happening considering they have had ten years to figure out the preorder process, etc.

Yes. I've been tracking some other threads and the general consensus is that people will start lining up Wednesday night, and that you should get there by Thursday to get what you want. I really do not want to miss getting the phone on the 3rd. I already took off Friday from work :)

Finally i got in touch with chat last evening and lady asked me to get in touch with phone support. Called one of them, told him my sob story and he heard. Then he disconnected.

Waited for him to call back, he didnt. Tried again in a hour. Connected to another agent and told him my sob story again 3 times. He at one time said he can only possibly cancel the order as only thing that he could do, not bump up the date. I pounced on that and told him how could he possibly cancel when he couldnt do anything else.

Long story short at the end of it he said someone from management would call me in 24 hours and see what they can do. I am not expecting any call, but deep down a small glimmer if date can bump up.

But more or less i have given up on getting a launch day device.

My birthday is 11/2, I justified the lump sum purchase by saying it was a little present to myself. My 6 died a few months ago, I have been barely hanging on with my relic of an iPhone 5. I'm just so relieved that the Smithsonian let me borrow it back for a few months until I receive my X.

I took Friday - Wednesday off work for the IPX Launch and Xbox one X launch

Just want to share my experience. TL/DR - I got bumped up. Was 17-24, now November 3rd!!!

IUP program and was pre-approved. Had issues getting in to the app on pre-order date - couldn't get it to load until 2:089AM. By the time I ordered my phone on the IUP, it was 2:10AM. App showed Nov 3rd delivery and then on the final screen it said Nov 17-24th. Contacted Apple about it because it said "Delivers Nov 3rd" originally - took screenshots during the order just in case, I'd highly recommend this next time to help your case - and the rep said they would "keep an eye on my account." Just checked after reading about the others that had gotten the bump and mine now shows "Preparing to Ship" Delivers Nov 3rd. THANKS APPLE!!! Hope this helps others!
