FWIW: My wife's phone made it to Incheon 2 days ago at the exact same time as mine, and left immediately on UPS99, and was delivered yesterday. There was no lag waiting for clearance or anything.

Mine is still in Incheon, like many of you, having inexplicably missed UPS99 twice now. Third time has to be a charm today!

Those sweet, sweet departure scans should be showing up in the next 1 - 2 hours if the last two days are any indication.

I was promised by multiple UPS people a 11/16/17 delivery date. But it is still in Korea!
Yeah that's not happening. UPS has completely dropped the ball these last 2 weeks.

I agree with this. Although I'm starting to think, for me personally, Monday is better for delivery as I'll have time to myself to get things backed up and set up. Friday-Sunday around my household is utter chaos. (But I'll still gladly take the thing on Friday anyway...haha)
I’m stuck with you guys in Korea. Meanwhile my wife’s phone which shipped Monday is in Kentucky. We leave Monday for the holiday so I may be having to call UPS and ask them to hold the delivery til we get back. I just don’t understand what happened to our group that’s still in Korea.

There is no pattern at all for how UPS is handling the packages...My Coworker pre-ordered for both he and his son, both had delivery dates of December and both of them shipped out this past Tuesday. One went via Shanghai and is already in Louisville as of this morning, and the other is sitting in ZengZhou. Meanwhile, mine shipped last Friday and is still in Korea.

The same bull **** that has been happening to every group for the last two weeks, which is inexplicable delays in either Zhengzhou, Incheon, or both, with zero accountability or responsibility for it taken by UPS or Apple.

These aren't normal customs delays. These are capacity issues for UPS.

Same boat for me and my wife. Mine was supposed to be delivered between the 17th and the 20th. Shipped on the 10th and still in Korea. My wife was supposed to be in Dec. shipped Monday and is in Kentucky. No rhyme or reason.

Amen to that! UPS has bungled this for so many people, and like you said takes zero accountability for what is going on. If 10 of us called UPS about the same issue we would all get 10 different answers.

I used the quick start and was able to use the new SIM. You still have to remove the old SIM before returning it. The quick start took a few tries due to server issues, but not too bad. It’s was pretty painless. The Face ID setup was a breeze.

I am not returning my old phone. I purchase mine outright. That is why I was wondering if I can take my sim from the phone (iphone 7) and put it in the iphone x

anyone in this boat with me?

Incheon, 11/16/2017 7:30pm arrival scan

But why would you? This is a pretty old practice that isn't relevant anymore. Even if you purchase outright, it ships linked to your phone number and will activate and replace your old line on its own.

Same-ish. Though I bet yours didn't ship all the way back on the 8th. I'm going for the record here. In fact, if it didn't get on UPS99 today and doesn't get delivered tomorrow, UPS will actually be in breach of their contract with Apple to deliver within 10 days. Monday would make it 12 days.

I realize it will be attached to my phone number, I just did not know if I should place my old sim in the new phone. Thank you

Yeah, no need to do that. Once you turn on the new phone, there will be an activation screen that shows your number so you can ensure it is correct. Once you proceed, the new one activates and the old deactivates, within seconds.

It just occurred to me… That our delivery window was the 17th through the 24th, and from UPS perspective, they’re still likely going to make that window. I guess I need to try to be happy for people who are getting their phone early, rather then being frustrated that I’m getting my phone… Likely on time.
