Have any 11/17-11/24 shipments been bumped?

Looks like a good batch of us are finally getting close. Yesus.

They may have reached out to UPS to request this upgrade.

To be fair my packaged shipped on the 8th. It has been significantly delayed a few times in the process. So, it could be UPS doing it on their own to keep to the 10-day limit that Apple holds them to. Or it could have been Apple customer service.

Either way, pretty damn cool and worth sharing.

Can you expand on the "10-day limit"? Mine originated on the 8th like yours and Dwilson0311 but my shipment is still scheduled for Monday and has even departed Louisville at 2:11pm - but no bump to Saturday. I even got an email from Apple saying my shipment "may be delayed". I figured that if Apple knew, then it would get the Saturday bump. Below is the latest scan.

...and of course today the closest Apple Store to me has an AT&T SG 64GB. Keep bringing the blows. At least my phone is on U.S. soil!

well crap. new update. 3:16PM The package is awaiting clearing agency review. / Your package was released by the clearing agency.

scheduled delivery information is not available. was scheduled for 11/20. now who knows.

I got a better story than that. It costs $5/day for the UPS store to hold your package. Unfortunately, this whole shipping debacle is going to cost me $25-30 because I’m going to be gone next week. I’m now the only one on this thread who is hoping for a delayed delivery. Here’s hoping that my package arrives on 11/21 as stated or later.

This would not have been a problem if it had gotten here in 11/16 like originally quoted.

Yeah, tell me about it. I paid it anyway, but it's a bit exhorbitant considering it's still within the delivery window of when my driver arrives anyway. He usually gets here between 4-4:30, but I can't take a chance missing it if I have to pick kids up from daycare at 5, etc. I put in for 2-4 to ensure I'll have it before any of those possible things come up.

How dare my kids get in the way...haha

From what I understand is that if you have it held at a UPS CC (Customer Center) it is free. If you have it held at the UPS Store, it is the $5/day. Do you have CC near you?

I do agree that it is total BS.

They did have Verizon and Sprint phones. I would have gladly charged another phone to my credit card and just returned this UPS shipment if I could. I understand. I was in the Nov 17-24 group (not IUP), but my phone of course hadn't shipped. I showed up at my Apple store on the day after launch day and picked up an AT&T 256GB Space Gray X. I confirmed store stock before I cancelled my preorder.

Well, it looks like mine will now load on a truck in Lexington and deliver on Tuesday, November 21.

So apparently they do Saturday deliveries. UPS just updated my delivery date to the 18th

Finally got a delivery date! Monday 11/20. Annoying that 1 extra business day means waiting 3 days since today is Friday, but I guess it could be worse. Now let's see if they actually stick to the delivery date this time...

Got mine yesterday! Initially had a 17-24 date but it arrived on the 16th. Space Gray 256GB (AT&T)

Thanks for the tip. I just changed it to a UPS Care Center where they will hold you package for 5 business days for free. My original plan to have it held at the UPS store would have failed because Apple does not allow for their shipments to go a UPS store....just only the UPS Care Center.

Finally got my Import Scan in Kentucky: 3:53pm! It also switched my delivery date to Monday the 20th which was the original Apple delivery date they quoted me. I'm in NYC.
 
Late to the show, here... I've had much the same experience. Jacked up Apple Store launch resulting in the Nov 17-24 delivery. Shipped 11-10 and just left Louisville I THINK on UPS flight 2908 to Ontario, CA with a new delivery date of Monday the 20th. We'll see...

I think they will upgrade to Saturday delivery if they can "easily" accommodate it to your delivery address. For me, the next UPS flight to Northern California (Oakland) isn't until 4am on Saturday - not enough time to fly, get from airport to hub, get sorted and onto a truck.
 
Mine departed Louisville at 3:40pm today with a delivery date of Monday. I'm in AZ so not sure if it's on a truck or on another plane.

I arrived in ANC at 11:01am Alaska time, there were 8 flights heading to Louisville from 6:30pm EST until about 10:30pm EST. I was hoping to catch one of the 8 flights out, but so far no departure scan. Pisses me off!
