Have any 11/17-11/24 shipments been bumped?

If you're thinking of going to the store on Friday and getting one you'll just be wasting your time. There's very little chance you will.lol...as this gets closer I just don't see alot of us (me) waiting until the 17-24th...
I will not go to the store on the 3rd, I will not go to the store on the 3rd....I keep saying this over and over
I have to work, otherwise I would at least drive by and check the line.
You shouldn't be posting on this thread if you're not among those waiting till the 16-24 or 17-24 period.I'm getting one Nov. 3rd as well. No jealousy here, only honesty

that istock website update like over the weekend? when do you think its best if you wanted to get your phone... I just pray they switch it up and we get it next week some time ill be happy yah know?
It is a fun experience however. Did it in 2012 for the 5S. Lots of disappointment that year. I got what I went for.
I did it for the 6+ and had like a family of 10 in front of me that lit. took half the inv for one company... people were pissed.. I ended up getting a 128GB because of them too... but I got one on launch day.. had that phone ever since my 6+ is on its last leg I just pray for a new phone before this one takes a crap on me... restarting 5 plus times a day gets super old...
I don't buy any of these stories from people who are saying they had an estimate of 17-24 and now they've gotten bumped to 11/3, for anyone who is currently part of the IUP and went through pre-approval prior to the pre-order, and ordered via the Apple Store app. After getting blown off by a Senior Apple Advisor, I personally emailed Tim Cook a lengthy email after I ordered my iPhone X with a promised Nov. 3rd date, only to find out the next morning I too was bumped to the 17th-24th. I received a phone call from an Austin, TX number, less than two hours later from Ms Aitmeddour, who is an Executive for the Apple Online store and an assistant to Tim Cook. She told me that Mr. Cook asked her to contact me, to let me know that they are doing everything they possibly can to get my iPhone X delivered sooner than the 17-24 window. I've spoken to her twice now, and so far, the only change in my delivery date is that it is now 11/16-11-24. She said she cannot guarantee a Nov. 3rd date. As I was typing this, she just called (a third time) to let me know about the one day bump from 11/17 to 11/16. People make things up because in their sick mind, it's fun to mess with people who are upset about being wronged by Apple. If you were quoted 11/17-11/24 with the conditions I mentioned above, I guarantee you are not getting your iPhone X on launch day, period. I am also not getting my iPhone X on Nov. 3rd, even though that was the date I was promised at check out. To all of you who will receive youriPhone on launch day, good for you, I am truly happy for you

Unless you're one of the first 10 people in line your chances are probably near zero.
I honestly do not really believe they got bumped. It is easy to find a screenshot someone posted on here in one of the other threads and put your name or whatever on it. There might be a few who luckily got a bump but literally only about 2 or 3. Other people are lying.
I'm not trying to make anyone jealous. I'm trying to help everyone here anyway that I can, and that is why I've been posting my experiences. I want everyone who saw a 11/3 date at checkout, to get there iPhone on 11/3, or as close to that date as possible.

Ahhh haa...I've been known to strike gold before on launch days. Honestly I'm just really not in the mood to deal with the craziness.
I tried it a couple of times and went home with nothing. Not gonna waste my time again.
I run my own business with my wife, so I can honestly give up a few hours, but I won't be doing any camping..lol
Someone is giving you a hard time because you got bumped by one day?!?! if I remember didn't you get bumped to 11/16-11/24? I mean seriously...it is one day. I know people are petty as hell, but I did not think one day would say you cannot be in the 11/17-11/24, haha. I hate internet tough guys and telephone tough guys. I am glad to see you got bumped...even if it is just one day. I wish more people were getting bumped!

That's what I'm sayin! I had to resort to other methods to get mine on 11/3, I didn't get bumped. My buddy had his brother order a couple, one for him and one extra. I was able to get the extra from him. My order is still out there, and it has only gone from the 11/17
In all honesty, I think most people in this delivery estimate window will see their iPhones by the end of next week (11/11), if not sooner. I think after Friday we will see another bump, and more than a one day bump.
My wife's phone order was a PITA. I got mine in, 256 Silver X for Nov 3 delivery using iUp. I did not get the phone correctly at launch, because Apple had major issues contacting my service provider's (AT&T) servers to verify my details. So I got the reservation splash screen. I got the email a couple hours later and was able to check out and got a November 3 date.I honestly do not really believe they got bumped. My wife's phone order kept failing when trying to authenticate her details via AT&T. It kept timing out. Finally I got to filling in the personal info for the Citizen's One loan, and then I got some error about how there was a problem processing the application, but not to place a new order. Wait for an email it said. So I did.
That email came about 8 AM eastern and said the application failed. But I wasn't sure because the email came from Apple and I was expecting the email to come from Citizen's one. Anyway, long story short, her original window was going to be November 10th-17th. But it turned out I had to place a new order for her. So I did.
The new ship date was Dec 11-18. But a couple hours after I placed a new order, Apple emailed me to apologize for the application trouble, asked me if I placed a new order and if so to provide the order number. They said if I didn't place a new order, to do so.
The next day, the Dec 11-18 ship by date became Nov 17-24 DELIVERY estimated date.
So while I can say with 100% certainty that I can understand not believing people, I know for a fact that my wife's phone moved up quite a few weeks, due to Apple and ATT server issues. Apple made it as right as they could. And I am grateful.
I've never missed a launch day. last few years I did the iphone upgrade program and it was so friggin simple with zero headaches. Years before I honestly just went to the stores and always got a phone, never camped out, never stayed over night, just always had luck at Queens Center, Staten Island, and sometimes Prince st.

Others were given the AirPods. I thought that was a better deal. But I’m satisfied with my folio case. Can’t be too demanding, I’m so happy now.
Could the two of you please send me any documentation (post or PM) that these "freebies" were real, that I can use to prove to the Apple supervisor who calls me back that people here aren't blowing smoke up my butt like the last Apple rep claimed? He claimed everyone here was a liar. I'm not holding my breath that I'll even get a call back, but...
I'm only talking to them about this because I'm irritated by the crashes that delayed the ordering process, and the fact that they didn't hold a phone for me for 11/3 pickup when that was the ETA when I got the reservation 10 minutes after the store opened - while others who ordered later and didn't get the errors still got the launch day delivery that was supposed to have been reserved for me.

I want to see everyone get bumped as well. We all need to calm down some, myself included sometimes haha. For real though, how the hell can the Apple Store app give a customer, or customers a Nov. 3rd ship date, all the way through Touch ID and the "Your order is complete" page, and then give you a 11/17 - 11/24 window the next day???
