Got through on the app st around 10 after. Ordered a T-Mobile IUP 64 GB Silver. Got a 17-24 date. Dropped to 16-24 a few days ago. Now arriving on Monday. I really doubt Apple was this far off on their supply chain estimates (they are excellent at supply chain), so I’m guessing it was a mess up on retail’s end, or a little of both.

You will have to call UPS or FedEx, whoever is shipping and tell them. They can either reroute or hold it at the facility and you can pick it up as soon as you get back.

Thanks. I'll give UPS a buzz today. I wonder how swamped they are :D

I mean iPhones are the only big product launches out there in the world lol. Not only are there other well-selling phones, there are also game consoles, games, collectible toys, new clothing season &#$%#^%^#@%

According to Apple, my order has shipped and should now be here on the 6th according to UPS, though the Apple store app still says 11/16-11/24

Tim Cooks email: tcook@apple.com

I emailed him last night, pretty late. I know it was past 11pm EST. She got ahold of me pretty quick. I did not ask for any bump in shipment, I already got my gift from Apple, but she did say ship times are very likely to improve (however she could not guarantee ANYONE or myself would see a bump) so I hope she is right on that front. I concentrated on how Apple had a dry run with the preorders for the iPhone 8/8+, and I admitted there was not as much demand for them as the iPhone X, that they should have had an idea. I also told her more importantly that Apple needs to oversee the carriers systems and basically approve them before preorders because I told her that if it was not for AT&T crashing and not being able to get past their screen, I can almost guarantee I would be getting my iPhone X tomorrow as with a lot of you. I told her that if carriers want to sell the latest and greatest iPhones they should be ready and Apple she make sure they are ready by running "dry runs" on their systems and if they fail they do not get to sell the iPhones until they prove their servers/systems are ready. So I hope Apple acts on some of that.

How quick? I just sent one off really to express frustration that there was an issue but no one at the 1st level of support had any idea how to resolve it that I was just to call AT&T and how that just created more delays because no one had an idea what was going on. In all that calling back and forth my date slipped.

Mine was one of the "try again orders" that got adjusted over the weekend, but is still holding at 17th-24th. Keep hoping it gets moved up to next week but I'm doubtful.

What was your date?

It was 11/3 when I ordered, changed to 11/17-11/24 the next morning. Then it went to 11/16-11/24 a couple of days ago. It just updated to Preparing to Ship about 10 mins ago and I have the pending charge on my Amex. It's coming folks, sooner than you would ever expect I bet :)
[doublepost=1509650647][/doublepost]For those of you who noticed your order update to Preparing to Ship, how long did it take you to see it on UPS, or whichever career is delivering your iPhone X? I think I will have mine by 11/6 now as well, however I'm still curious.
