Totally, but you're still not re-approved for upgrade under the terms of the program I believe. So then you have to buy a new X, and continue paying for your current.

No, if that iPhone X from UPS/FedEx is not touched at all, for example, activated. You tell UPS/FedEx you do not want it and they make a note of that, and also put a sticker on the box saying you did not take it at all. If Apple tries to charge you, just call them and tell them you got one at an Apple Store and did not take the one coming from UPS/FedEx. They will (or should) not charge you and if they did, they will give you a refund.

SO my 11/17-11/24 date has not bumped. but I just happened to be in our local mall and stopped by Apple store. 5 people in line, I politely asked if they had any iphone X. Yup..sure do. Walked out in 10 min with my brand new, silver, 256gb iphone X. cancelling online order ....so much for getting up at 2:45am :)

My phone is still in Korea so I Am not planning on receiving it on 11/6 as the tracker says,

There are a lot of us November 6 folks on the Korea stop I think it left. UPS on busy days (and this is launch day) often starts loosing scans, and there was a flight 2 hours or so later that left (UPS99) for Anchorage. Many of us suspect our November 6 phones are on that flight. Maybe there will at least be update when plane reached Anchorage in hour and half.

Tracking we all have as of 7:20 AM CDT for me:

Incheon, Korea, Republic of 03/11/2017 19:26 Arrival Scan
ZhengZhou, China 03/11/2017 16:24 Departure Scan
ZhengZhou, China 02/11/2017 23:35 Arrival Scan
02/11/2017 11:19 The package is awaiting clearing agency review. / The package is at the clearing agency awaiting final release.
ZhengZhou, China 02/11/2017 23:10 Departure Scan
02/11/2017 11:05 The package is awaiting clearing agency review. / The package is at the clearing agency awaiting final release.
ZhengZhou, China 02/11/2017 20:19 Origin Scan
China 02/11/2017 4:39 (ET) Order Processed: Ready for UPS

LOOL I am a sad case man!!

I did help out ATT though... and thats why I was specific in my rant "EFF APPLE... Ordering experience to be specific..."

I knew someone would point out my hypocrisy, so I tried to cover some base :)
Hey at least you're honest about it!

I am intrigued about the deal you got though...if you have time, could you PM me the details? (figured there's no need to clutter this thread any more than it already is! :)) I'm on AT&T and considering bringing a friend onto the plan so adding a line would be in the cards, and I don't see any offer specific to adding a line other than when moving from another carrier plan, and the plan she's in wouldn't qualify for their offer.

Forget all this bumping. Wife walked into the Apple Store on Michigan Ave a few minutes ago and just bought 2 there. Will be cancelling the 17-24 orders we had. Crazy.. didn't have to call 20 some times, or whine and cry to anyone either.

The line looked long when I walked past. Did she wait long?

y’all I gave in!! Went to Verizon, canceled my order in store and it released my Verizon lock within 5 mins (no need to call headquarters or Apple). Seriously so easy.

AT&T Next 64 Gb Silver
11/17-11/24 OIP
Placed order approx 0015 on preorder night

Just cruised to local AT&T store and they had exact phone I ordered through Apple, in their store. Cancelled with Apple and my Next upgrade reset within a minute or so. Checked out at AT&T store. Boom.
