Starting to expect mine by the 17-24th. I wish that weren’t the case (I don’t think it’s even possible for it to come the 23rd is it?) but I’ve been in OIP since I ordered and nothing has changed and no charges have come through.

There have definitely been a lot of cancellations but I’ll just expect it in the delivery range and be surprised if it’s early.

I feel a little silly that I waited up until midnight to buy it when people who didn’t even wait in line at all are getting them on a whim today and I still have to wait two more weeks at least, but oh wel. That’s the price I pay for being two and a half hours from the nearest Apple store. At least I know from this thread I am not alone.
Im right there with you, currently living in the country side, away from any Starbucks and Apple stores. If only I could live somewhere close to an Apple store or retailer of the X.

Here's my story today:


I work 12 hour shifts at the hospital, so I asked my charge nurse if I could get off early. She told me there was one person ahead of me who wanted to leave early and that I had to relieve her from her surgery case, and that afterwards I could leave. The case was ending and I saw the end in sight, but alas, the surgeon tells us that he wants the patient to go to ICU at the last minute. It's 3 o'clock at this point and I'm waiting on the patient to be transferred. I finally get off around 3:15p, and I head to the local Apple Store in Fort Worth. There's like 100 people ahead of me, and I'm thinking to myself "there's no way I'm going to get a phone today". After about 10 minutes, the employee walks out and says "there are only AT&T models left and there's 380". I'm panicking because I see FAMILIES walking out with 2+ phones, so I'm doing the math. About 45 minutes passes, and I get to the front of the line hoping I don't hear the words "we're sold out". Nope! I got my Silver 256 today! I quickly cancelled my online order after spending about 20 minutes on hold with Apple Support. I was very surprised that they had that many phones left for AT&T and that it was the only carrier left, too! I went ahead and signed up for the IUP.

Anyone else receive their shipping email this morning and have an expected delivery date of 11/13? Also seeing via tracking info it’s currently going through customs.

Anyone else? I think we’re the batch after the Monday deliveries so hopefully it will arrive before the 13th!

here still no movement, no CC charge...

12:12 confirmation order! i just start loose my faith in receive my order before november 17.
 
I waited for 2.5 hours at an Apple Store today and walked away with nothing. Going to try tomorrow at 6AM to order for in-store pickup. That's apparently when it opens online. Still no movement on my order.
Apple is not launching the reservation system in the U.S at the moment

So you will need to check something like I stock now
 
Well no movement in my order, still OIP for 11/17-24, but citizens loan payment is pending as of this afternoon. If I’m still OIP tomorrow, and can still cancel, I’ll try the stores nearby.

Hehe just checked it's now 11/6 and left Anchorage a few hours ago... Idk why it can't just come tomorrow lol
My case came in today too!

Btw, was bumped from a 11/17-11/24 date.
 
No movement on my 17-24 ATT Next but I am going to suck it up and just be patient. I don’t have the time to sit hours at the store. Just cross my fingers that I get it a bit early...
 
My daughter’s phone stayed another tour in Korea but mine went to Anchorage. I’m kind of sad we were separated.

I would expect mine to go to KY next, not CA. I’ve never tracked my phone to CA in the past, but there’s a first time for everything.

My other daughter’s 17-24 phone is still OIP. She wasn’t a pre-approved IUP so her order took longer and I saved that for last.
 
I had two orders of SG 256, ATT next with an 11/17-11/24 date. No movement in the past few days. Walked into a local AT&T store today and picked up two phones with no wait. They also had a promotion where you buy an iPhone X and get an iPhone 8 for free, so picked up two 8's for the kids! Needless to say, I cancelled the orders with Apple.

My order was screwed by Apple. When I placed order, I was given 11/3 delivery date. Few minutes later email arrived saying 11/17-11/24 delivery. Luckily I had a screenshot of order. Tried to contact Apple but couldn’t get through. Sat evening I spoke with rep who promised senior advisor would call back within an hour. No call. Sunday senior advisor called and sent info to another group. 3 days later, the only resolution was that it would be moved up but they didn’t know when. I did tell the advisor I was open to either color and didn’t mind picking up at a local store. Yesterday I emailed Tim Cook but no response from executive team. Earlier I re-sent email again to Cook and 2 senior advisors. No response.

Took a chance and took subway to SF Union Square store around 1:30 pm. They still had phones with about 50 people in line. Within 30 minutes, I had my iPhone X 256 Space Grey ATT Next in hand. Security mentioned there was around 450 people in line when they opened. I heard a rep say they were out of space grey for Verizon and T-Mobile. They had both colors and sizes for ATT. I’m still planning to give Apple a piece of my mind about my preorder.

my friend have a roommate that bought 3 phones in miami apple store today.

That's total bull. How can they move up some orders, but push back others? Apple has some explaining to do...that's why I went ahead and made the leap to stand in line for an hour. The line wasn't very long at the Apple Store in Fort Worth, TX...they had 380 AT&T iPhone Xs left when I got there around 330p today. Sold out of the other carriers o_O

No, apparently it's Monday. The trade-in box came today. It was very confusing. My SO will let me use that phone until my real one comes. I'm still going to try to get one tomorrow morning though.

No, the apple store literally told us today, starting tomorrow at 6AM we can go on the site or Apple's app and order a phone and choose pickup in store. They are getting shipments every day.
